Big data and logistic business....this is something i need to wait to see . At current low price, I will invest more. I know oil is up, but i think this oil hike, AA will get the passengers to absorb ( even other airlines will do so). As for the currency, I think malaysia currency will recover in 1 or 2 years period.

Genting malaysia still not ready, numbers of tourist getting less. The capex is so intensive that the profit will not be that great too. The numbers of tourist if increased, defintely they need to fly in through AA.

I just threw 50k from my FD and hold it long term...say 1 year to 2 years. I am pretty sure the return will still be better than FD.

hopefully, the new govt would open the budget airlines biz to more competition to attain lower air fares for the rakyat

Genting malaysia"s investment at south of Boston may be failed due to land dispute. Total group investment as at June 30 amounted to US$426.3mil (which is about 30centsper shareof Genting malaysia share). Currently this is classified under " other non current assets" in the balance sheet.

@joeshare, that's what Trump trying to arm wrestle with China. They still need aluminium and Trump could see how important steel and aluminium industry are. They will still import aluminium in as they can't source all their own demand internally and recent news said the Potus is considering imposing the tariff on certain countries only. So where united states will buy from ? Certainly not China and Mexico... but buy from where ? See, the demand is still there. I'm not sure how the market will react but I'm sure the demand for this metal is growing in future . Tin can , building and construction materials like window panels , transportation and even the office chairs we sit on are using this materials.

and why Trump is imposing this tariff? Because he knew their aluminum industry cannot compete with other players. And Trump knew how important is the aluminum and steel to them . The world consumption on aluminum is going up and up and they are losing and paying for this raw material. So Trump is reviving his aluminum industry and this is the main issue he is facing. Aluminum is going up steadily and will be one of the metal developing countries can't do without. Currently United states only produces less than 900 thousand metric tonnes and they are using below 6 million metric tones annually. So where and how united states getting their aluminum?

Trump is f**king nuts. One side of him said trade war is good while another side of him raised tariff because his country's aluminium and steel industries are facing competition from imports. By the way , they still need aluminium and steel , aren't they ? So end users like us will be paying more for their American products.

Before announcement of qtr result, if the management knew the result will be poor and still sending the message out they are doing great......buying at this share so cheap saying share buyback? is like fooling or laughing at me...Im still holding the shares while i could have sold it 2 month ago.

Just curious , when she did the interview, during september, did she or did she not knowing the qtr will make a loss? cos that report made me still holding the dream she sent to us. i saw them cursing this counter left and right while promoting so much about rubberex at their site. Really can feel their pain. Sorry i also sold all my comfort but i never hold any grudge against anyone or counter as we can only blame ourselves in this share investing. Seriously how old are those ppl?
