errata : Q4 results for FY 2016 and FY 2017

GKENT 3rd Q posted PBT of RM 36.7mil vs RM 29.6 previous year. The increase in tax provision this year is due to higher revenues and PBT generated.

So I am not wrong to say that Q4 results are still the best if you compare the results in 2015 and 2016, and I dare to say that the trend will continue to be strongest for 2017 too, This was also concurred by Tan Sri Tan Kay Hock during the AGM in June 2017, if you had attended and talked to him, in person.

The sell down in DUFU may be due to funds taking profits and readjust their portfolios for 2018. This is very common during year end.

There is no problem with Adv con businesses, just the management is an issue.

Of course the bonus listing will be made by end of Dec and before CNY 2018

Advancecon, the management system have problems. Late delivery of projects are bad for long term and will lose the trust of future contracts to be awarded. The WCE and Pan Borneo projects were delivered late, thats why resulted in lesser revenue and net profits. The Management of Advancecon, to begin with, are very suspicious to begin with. Its IPO was delayed twice in 2017 ( May deferred to July due to some irregularities with Securities Commission and BUrsa Malaysia). On top of that, to issue up to additional 15% of new shares as ESOS will further dilute its earnings. Medium to Long term outlook for Advacecon seems bleak, unless next quarter they show a tremendous increase in net profit.

So if u buy Econ at RM 3.20, the ex adjusted price will be RM 1.28 at 25k shares

If u have 10k of mother shares today, after the split and bonus, your total mother shares will become 25k with 5k warrants too
