@orionpacific: Thank you for the above note. Unfortunately, as participants we are subjected to the macro-economic issues at large and that is something we have no control and have to manage in progression so long we are in the market.

It is indeed incomprehensible that the leaders are not assuring the country as a whole on how they would address the repercussions of the oil issue, absence of which would further erode confidence in the capital market and investment sentiment. Mercy.

It would be great to hear from you here, going forward. I believe many fellow participants, whether current or ex, had gained further insight from the information that you had shared. Or at least for myself.

Calvin: non-residential properties are deem as standard rated hence gst would apply, whereas residential properties is an exempt supply hence no gst.

Applicable in the context of singapore and malaysia.

Consider all possible aspects before taking up the exposure, yeah?

@xxxx: In Pages 9 - 10 of the Q2 announcement details, it was deduced that based on 3 workover wells, the production volume stood at 105 barrels/day. Page 10 of the Q3 announcement indicated the completion of 8 workover wells, I infer the production volume as 280 barrels/day assuming equal production efficiency for all the wells. Should the target of 12 workover wells by end 2014 is achieved, production volume might be 360 barrels/day.

Just sharing my layman view.

The blessing is that the Yongs held some 46% of the entire share base, leaving some 54% in the market, which is not a bad thing in my opinion as the greater the % left in the hands of the 'free' market the greater the counter price uncertainty.

I share the same sentiments as orionpacific on the series of events to be unveiled for this counter.

Not a buy call. Hope everyone makes money, yeah?
