In my opinion, the mother share need to break 0.50 to command any further movement of the Scomi-WA. People like me won't pay premium for WA with lifespan 1 months plus but will consider it if it is trading at reasonably discount to mother share. That's why when mother share moved from 0.40 to 0.435, Scomi-WA hardly move because it is currently trading at high premium while it should be trading low premium or discount already. Scomi need to reach RM0.490 for the WA to break even at current price of RM0.09
(without considering the exercise cost & waiting risk yet )

Why discount & not premium? if WA commanding premium, smart money can just buy the mother share from the market :)

However, most of the time, those who trades warrant have limited knowledge on how the instrument work. So it won't be an odd scene if you see WA trading/commanding higher premium when mother share moving up slightly.
