I know everyone is disappointed. But the reality is this, Pohuat still closed at its highest. Dalpinia is correct. It should be good for RM2 once the QR is out or even before that. We should focus on that. The future is still bright. Be patient.

WB will start to run once LPT and the directors finish selling. I think we are there already.

The downtrend is mild. Seems the emphasis is to support the mother now.

Not what I had expected. Unlike Homeriz, Pohuat has managed to maintain prices pretty stable, despite the strong selling volume. I think this is a good sign and is typical of Pohuat ( a consistent performer). I believe the future is bright. I did sell a bit of WB this morning but will buy back in the days to come. There is no hurry. My target price is RM2.00 because that is the previous main support price.

Hi Cherry88. I think you could be right. TayKH is not retiring and my earlier comment is probably incorrect and surely hasty. I am sorry. I would not read too much into him selling though. He would have his own reasons for doing so...we do not know. The company still looks like a good investment to me.

Pretty disappointed with Gunung. I think those 300 buses used to ferry the red shirts belonged to them. I suppose it's business first principles last. Then again maybe it's a case of both are aligned.

China may be a close system but the stock market is not a fair system. Money has being transferred from the ignorant masses to professionals who may know how to make money but do not know how to spend it. This is why I think consumption in China will suffer going forward.

Liihen released a very good quarterly report yesterday. Profits and dividends are doubled. We can expect the same from Pohuat next month.

I remember selling all my Liihen shares at RM1.75 for exactly the same reason. One of its 7 factories had being burned down sometime during April 2014. Well Liihen went on to make even more money that quarter and successive quarters and is now RM5.74 today. Should I sell??? You kidding right. Pohuat's directors say that the premises, equipment and stocks are insured. That is good enough for me.

I am keeping what I got. I have not sold. I do not panic easy and have absolute confidence in the management and the coming 3rd quarter result. I see the current downturn as merely temporary and am optimistic in the future 1 or 2 months.

It is too early to say that we have turn the corner but it does look better than the past 3 days. I have bought a bit just as not to have a odd lot.

Guys. Take a look at the Bursa release. We struck Gold.

I think its a very good thing should they announce the 3rd quarter quickly rather than later.

If you search for it, you will find that such announcements are quite standard with Pohuat. There were a few the past few years but if you study announcements of changes in directors or substantial shareholder's shareholdings following "announcements of intention to deal", you will find nothing material. If anything we can take away from this is the likelihood that the 3rd quarter report may come out early (like last year) circa 10 September and not end September. I think that is good news.

Wish people would stop saying bonus issue like they have insider information. Whilst it would be great, it is misinformation and would mislead folks into buying this stock.

Icon8888. I have much respect for what you say. However I see rm90 million retained profits. Surely this can be used to finance the bonus issue.

Given the amount of retained earnings available, I see no reason why Pohuat should not do one. Besides, peers like Homeritz has just concluded a 1 for 2. Previous 2 bonus issues were end July and August. Let's see if history will repeat itself.

Probably the most underrated stock at Bursa. Sigh

I think RM3 is viable.

Nothing much to worry about for this one. I do not think the directors indulge in any manipulation of accounts or "games". If they did we will not see such a vast difference in Sales and profits between quarters. There was also no difference noted between the audited accounts and all 4 quarters. I see the directors as honest, hard working and frugal businessmen who started with little and have worked their way to the top with sheer grit and determination.

There is a update above under Research / Price Target. its dated 17/6/2015. TA target priced Pohuat at 2.62. I reckon this is achievable only by year end.

I think 2.30 to 2.50 is a possibility in July once the macro problems are solved.
