i believe this is a tactic.

Those rich cronies transfer out huge money to setup investment company in foreign and go into KLSE to bosst up the index. Their capital is huge enoughh to manipulate the klse.

Then, there may have 2 situation to come:
if BN wins, they will bosst up the index higher and sell to the retailor.

if PKR wins, they are directed by the boss to slump the market and downturn it for continuous 5 years. Since stock market is the best benchmark to measure the economy growth, this will make pkr shamed not able to control the situation until next GE.

The first task that pkr need handle is to tackle the national debt of 53%. If in between there are sabotage towards the ruling party's development, MY will get even worse.

So, will MY end up like Thai? God knows.

Even you get the rights, they can also press down the mother price to make your average price higher.

Capital reduction wont affect the units in hands even par value change after refer to remiser. So it is still 1:4 right shares at the end.

Mahathir have a right point, where is capital reduction for mas now? They only want retailor take out money help them but they themselves no need take out a single cent for restructuring...

Actually to ask small retailor take out money 1:4 to cover their debt, it is like asking them to cut loss.

I think capital reduction no related to the average price.
It is based on the price before right-ex

Let's do a basic figures count.
Let's say today you bought the price is 0.75 before right-ex
So your avrage price is (0.75 + (0.23 * 4) / 5 = 0.334

if the mother price before ex is 0.82, the future price may go to 0.35, so you earn.
If the mother price is 0.7, the future price may go lower maybe 0.3, so you still lose.

So it really depends.
But i guess, guess only... they will support the price not to let it drop below 0.7

I am not sure what term i should use. To me @0.23 is right price, issue price is the future mother share price when the right is exercised. So if current price go lower to 0.7, the future price (issue price ?!) will be < 0.35, perhaps 0.3.

I still think if khazanah not support the current price now, the shares on their hands sure will dilute lot when rights run.

1 share can buy 4 right issue = 1lot can buy 4lot right issue
Think can buy more perhaps.
Take out money help mas pay back debts.

dont forget this only factor in the market price stagnant as 0.8 until ex-date. Price may go lower and issue price sure lower.

It should be if you have 1 shares can buy 4 right issue at price 0.23 each

For example: you today bought in 1000 shares at price 0.8 and the price stagnant until the ex-date,
You entitle to buy 0.23 * 4 * 1000 with price $920

This will average down the total shares prices when the OR start trading.

means your share price is (0.8 + (0.23 * 4) / 5 = 0.344

Mas book the value price on 10th Apr in which it is 0.82 that equavalent to issue price 0.35
