KGroup is the 1st company in Malaysia to be officially approved by the Ministry of Health (MOH) for Covid-19 test kits. To date, the many test kits available in various hospitals comes from different sources with no official approval from MOH. With the MOH endorsement, hospitals and clinics throughout the country will have to source their Covid-19 test kits from KGroup.

Given the second wave of Covid-19 infections throughout the world, we expect Malaysia to build up the test kit stock pile/ inventory of around 10% of the Malaysian population, translating to a minimum 3m test kit orders over the next 12 months. This will boost KGroup’s revenue by at least RM300m, translating to RM15m net profit of 2.2sen EPS. Based on Friday’s closing price of RM0.075, KGroup is only trading at 3.4x PE.

With no vaccine in sight for the next 12 months, we believe healthcare related stocks like KGroup would be where investors put their money into. KGroup being the sole approved MOH Covid-19 test kit provider should have a target price of RM0.16 (7x PER).

For TA, KGroup share price broke the resistance of RM0.065 and is now trading above the 14, 25, 50 days moving average with a hook up in Stochastics on 19/6/20. Immediate resistance of RM0.11 with a target price of RM0.16.

This morning there was a fair bit of selling. Perhaps its T+3 time, and many sellers buying this on Friday or Monday are choosing to liquidate ahead of uncertain direction in the US. As for me the decision to hold fire and not deviate from my plan is important. I picked two stocks that were supposedly to be involved in the glove business going forward as a forward looking play. However much speculation there is, the one fact remains is every single analyst and report I have read is bullish on the glove sector for the next 3 years. Now you can buy TopGlove or Supermax but you are buying at a massive premium for certainty of earnings. Having a position in this small 200m speculative company, because of its intended acquisition of Pearl Glove has the same amount of risk as buying exposure in glove stocks at the moment.
On a PE multiple of 80 to 90x earnings, any deviation to the perceived revaluation will send the big boys tumbling down 30%. By the same token if AT does not eventuate with the takeover of the glove company, it will head back down to 10cents where it came from (which is also 30%). So we can argue the risks are the same (in terms of capital gain) But...the upside...should AT finalize the acquisition, and begin investing in nitrile glove lines to link themselves as a glove manufacturer (even a small one) will see its market capitalization double immediately, and then move higher in tandem with the rest.
The glove business as a whole will always be there, and will always be in demand. The prices may level off, but this is a recession proof industry and I am quite happy to back a small company looking to move into what is inherently a very investable sector.
The Company has formed a subsidiary and no doubt due diligence is on going.

If vacine coming end of year, will takes some times to produce n reach the whole world. And glove is still lucrative with or without pandemic. And this stock riding on the right business during this pandemic cos a lot other business is dying now.
