tofeemoose, good 4u. The one to watch closely is their remittance business since the remittance industry in M'sia is reportedly worth rm36 billion annually. Still for a normal remittance to Bangladesh still costs abt RM5 per transaction..if MyEG could offer a better rate since it has a DEDICATED partner in the joint venture in Bangladesh should ensure competitive rates. In that case MyEG should be commanding a bigger market share of the remittance service to Bangladesh. I think they have good relationship with the Bangladeshi government so the success rate is higher.

The stake was sold for 1.20 via married deal and the intended buyer would not want to see their entry stake trading lower than what they paid for. I believe TS Wong and the board has their ways to shore up the share price before major announcements are made after such pulling in strategic partner

Acting in concert of 2 participating parties on an agreed price, the married deal is seen as a prearranged dealing. This comes from 2 major shareholders..one being the MD while the other is the Chairman. The 50 million shares represents about 1.38% of MyEG's total outstanding shares in circulation. Could be seen as a new entry of a strategic partner? I could smell something is brewing too :)
