tressele, please note that the word "potential impairment"....not a realized impairment. The analyst at UOB had been issuing coverage on MyEG simultaneously post election with 5 coverage reports without revising its own TP. Without taking into consideration of other potential business ventures that MyEG may materialize in the near term be it governmental contracts & non-govt businesses. In short to say, certain analysts have underestimated the potential earnings of MyEG's other business undertaking.

Equanimity means calmness and composure, especially in a difficult situation. Lol!

It's a public perception that anything about SST now is got to do with MyEG. No wonder it's being propelled to being volume leader and highest traded fir the past week.

Just bear in mind that their e-govt contracts contribute 20% of their revenues only. It's actually non-govt biz been raking 80% revenues. With or without more e-govt contracts should still be fine. MyEG did mention about M&A but have not identify any target just yet as said. M&A should be an easier & faster way to grow their topline.

I strongly believe that the PH govt is a prudent one so any leakages in tax collection will not be excused with substantially reduced tax monies after switching from GST to SST, a mechanism must be quickly introduced to prevent taxation leakages. I don't see any valid reasons on why MyEG is not being picked again in such a critical time where the nation's revenue is at stake after being sabotaged by the previous BN govt.

If u hear what they have been debating in the parliament for days & weeks, it has been revealed by both sides that it's true indeed that the task of tax monitoring & collection of 400k+ SMEs and others is an enormous one with the very LIMITED agents on the ground to do just that alone. My thoughts on this issue is that there is an urgent need of a solution such as that a system must be in place to monitor & manage such SST monitoring on a live basis if possible. That is why an effective, back-tested & efficient MySST system platform is needed urgently. It's almost 3 months that the PH govt collected NO TAXES nationwide so this is an urgent matter. I still think that MyEG stands the best possible chance of benefiting from such important national agenda.

If anyone is buying this counter, will be based on purely speculative especially as it is about 1.5 times overvalued. Your share earnings comes from foreign buy in rather from company's profitability. I am not playing this game. All the best.
