tsy, Dunknow, ariff, jasonor, inwest, connie, duit, westgun and All, Good Morning.
Hope everyone had a good weekend and an enjoyable Mid-Autumn Festival for those who celebrated it. Moon cakes are quite costly these days. It used to be very affordable but not anymore. And lanterns are also going out of fashion. Even without the haze, it is not common to see kids with lanterns in the urban areas. Maybe outskirt towns could be different. We hope our KLSE will be lit up with lanterns this week, Greeeeen lanterns of course!
Yes, its possible there could be some window dressing but i doubt it would be across the board. Happy trading to all!

AllWin, i can't tell you how far Comcorp can go but the next 2 strong resistance levels to watch out for are 0.335 and 0.36 before it re-test its previous high of 0.405. No problem at all. You can kacau me anytime as long as it is within my capacity to help ...hahaha....
Dunknow, you are welcome. Congratulations on your winning trade.

tsy, yes, the upside is not a lot but still, you can make some money off it especially during a weak market like now. But do remember that TP is just a TP and is only a guide. Cheers.

Dunknow, no prob bro.
Comcorp:
It is trading sideways in a rectangle pattern with an immediate strong support at 0.24/0.245 and an immediate resistance of 0.275/0.28. There is some build up in volume today and is attempting to break 0.28. It broke to 0.29 momentarily and it might break it today but the question remains if it can sustain above 0.28. Stop loss if 0.24 is violated.

westgun,
Tenaga:
Tenaga has broken out of its downtrend line on 14/9. For the midterm, it could correct itself as it formed a bearish harami during the week of 23/9. There are also signs of this based on the daily chart. Although it is currently consolidating sideways with a 11.9/12.00 immediate support and a stubborn resistance at 12.28, there are signs of a losing momentum. A break below 11.9 will see it test its next support at 11.6 while a break above from 12.28 will see it re-test its high of 13.2.

AllWin,
BPPlas:
It is bullish with an immediate support at 1.16 and a resistance at 1.22. There are some distribution in the stock and signs of a slowing momentum. Could consolidate before trending higher. TPs beyond 1.22 are 1.26 and 1.33. Should 1.16 support be broken, it could trend towards 1.10, the next support level.
2015-09-23 12:55 | Report Abuse
tsy88, VS is currently testing to break its resistance of 1.43 decisively. If it does, it carries a TP of 1.47. Good luck and well done. Good trade.

westgun, the market to me is still bearish. If 1600 is broken, we will see it trending towards 1560. However, as our government intends to support the market, we may see intermittent ups in the market. Which means, more volatility. That is why you see a big red one moment and a smaller red in the KLCI in a flash.
I am a firm believer in a Laissez-faire system where the market is dictated by demand and supply, the law of nature. The government intervention may only serve to delay or cushion the fall. Ultimately, there will be a gap in economic fundamentals, which is weakening and stock valuations and eventually, the market will move to close this gap. The economic reality is still a slowdown in world economy lead by China with the exception of the US whose growth may also be negated somewhat should the major economies slow significantly. That is why the Fed delayed the rate hike although I personally feel that this delay was a mistake by the Fed.
So, for today, don't be surprise if you see a recovery in KLCI in the later part of the day. If not, we should end in the red today. The overall trend will have a bearish undertone BUT beware of the "Invisible Hands" in trying to push it up. Cheers!

Dunknow,
Texcycl:
This stock has awoken from its long slumber sleep to be very bullish. It broke out on 8/9 and is now scaling new highs. Immediate support is at 1.00. If it can sustain above 1.00 tomorrow and with good volume, it will be poised to scale higher. If not it could consolidate first before making its next move. It is losing a bit of momentum to scale higher at the moment. Immediate resistance is at 1.08.

tsy, yeah and the agonizing suspense continues. We may not see a global rally. You see, Yellen's press conference, to me, injected more confusion and uncertainty into the market. That is probably why the market did not react too positively. The uncertainty of a rate hike this year persist and there is also the uncertainty of the impact on the recovery of the US by the economies of China and the Emerging Markets.
Yellen did not discount the possibility of an October do. Her comments on the weakness in the China and Emerging markets does imply that it might impact the recovery of the US. This throws caution to the Fed and it weighs in heavily on their no hike decision last night besides the inflation rate not touching their 2% target, one of their criteria.
But, once they have decided on a hike which means they deemed the US recovery as solid and sustainable, they will set in motion a series of future hikes. If not, they will overheat the economy.
And so, the saga continues and the volatility continues.
The above are my personal views and may not be shared by other analysts.

Tonight is the night. Not for romance with loved ones ...hehehe... but to see if we can romance the stock market to another level of climax. Yes, time for the Fed to decide whether its go or no go with the hike.
I personally prefer a hike now to get it out of the way. If not, come October or December, we will have to wait in guessing mode all over again. Hiking now will also give the Dow more clarity and certainty. The US economy has recovered albeit slowly with close to full employment. Although the market feels that the probability of a rate hike is very low, the Fed might just spring a surprise to the market.
On the local front, our market had another hefty jump of 35 points by mid day since the announcement of the market support by Valuecap. The euphoria and optimism could wane soon. So, you may want to lock in profits along the way. An egg in the basket is worth 10 outside the basket!

news, thanks for sharing the OCN info.
MARKETmaker, yeah, you can monitor OCNCash. I am not sure if the impact on sales will be significantly high to move the stock price into bullish territory, though I may be wrong. Masks are low priced commodity products which needs volume sales and as such, the impact on profits may not be significant given that the haze is a seasonal occurrence.
In any case, OCN has broken down from it uptrend line in August 2015. It is now consolidating with resistance at 0.36 and a support at 0.30. Trading volume is rather low at below 30 MA volume.

tsy88, Vs is now consolidating after its bonus issue. Its support at 1.30/1.31 remains intact at the moment but looks weak as it attempted to stay above 1.37 twice but failed. It could come in for a consolidation. If support is broken, it will look to the next levels at 1.27 and 1.15 for support.
It is normal for a stock to trade lower ex bonus. The run up in price prior to this is due to the bonus issue. So, most stocks would settle down first before scaling up again if catalysts are still present. Yes, you are right, even FA stocks go through this.

Appreciate yr views. Many thanks.

soulmad, glove counters are worth monitoring. Key beneficiaries of the weak MYR and glove demand can be pretty consistent. Ruberex broke its resistance of 0.725 today and if it breaks it resistance of 0.75, it will be bullish. Carepls is still trading within its sideway rectangle. Breaking 0.48 will mark a bullish move. Comfort is also range bound and need to clear its immediate resistance of 0.71. However, do be cautious of Supermx as they may be affected by S&P's downgrading of Brazil's credit rating and they did not turn in a good result in their latest financial report.

tsy, Dunknow, ariff, jasonor, inwest, connie, duit and All, Good Afternoon.
Dunknow, KLCI faces an immediate resistance at 1606. It will probably trade sideways and will continue to be volatile, in my opinion, although I can see the index possibly being pushed up artificially towards 1630. All the fundamental issues are still unresolved. Low oil price, deteriorating MYR, and an unstable political environment. To top it up, emerging economic datas are revealing slowing economies globally with the exception of US. So, its difficult to see a bullish KLCI.
The DJIA will remain volatile too with the US rate hike still hanging in the air with a support at 16000 and a resistance at 16670. The sooner the Fed get the rates out of the way the better it is for the Dow.

Thanks duit for that caution on warrants. You are right tsy, what a volatile market. Yes, expect the unexpected. On the flip side, volatile markets does present a profitable trading opportunity while at the same time, if traded wrongly, can lose big time. Timing and a calm mind is needed.

Dunknow, WCT is consolidating with an immediate support at 1.31. No heavy selling detected at this moment. Yes, you can take a bit more risk with SL at 1.29. Not a problem with that. If it breaks 1.38, it will trend towards its next resistance at 1.45/1.46, strong resistance.
