Call warrant is a paper stock derivative created by the Quant team of ib. It has nothing to do with the biz or finance of the underlining stock.
ib uses call warrant to SHORT the stock to the great public.

The settlement is done basing on the last day price of the stock i.e. the day b4 expiry date. n by calculation the last warrant holders will be paid only if the call warrant is in the money.
