Report: Dalian Wanda may lead development of Bandar Malaysia: Dalian Wanda Group, controlled by China’s richest man, has emerged as the frontrunner for the development of the Bandar Malaysia township, following the surprise move last week by Malaysia to boot out a consortium that was to buy a majority stake in the project, Singapore’s The Straits Times reported on Tuesday. Felda settlers are nit worried. For sure felda taking back the land as fgv cannit survive with 21 yr old palms. If felda dont make money Govt will pump money into felda cooperative so it is Govt idea to save fgv as Jib also under pressure. So soon got news on detachment of felda land from fgv n fgv will be laughing to end the LLA which was an uphill task for Zakaria.

During the talk if felda agrees to take back the land then Billionaires will buy in open market fitst so decide for yourself. Remember always fgv is a loss making Co n will never make profit

I know that but my friend took me to his plantation n was using chemicals by hanging to the palms at random n he told me very successful. As for Gardoderma , pls consult UP.

Once a planter told me: New young palms can be massively attacked by rhinoceroses beetle n it has to be trapped otherwise d palm becomes a low yielding palms. As I have been telling "supervison" n comittment is the golden truth n if u are lazy go BUST..........

Under d circumstances:
1. Since palms are 21 yrs old n replanting cost is very expensive better for fgv to get rid of the land "good rideens to bad rubbish.
2.Basing on past experience obvioisly fgv not going to get yield similar to IOI or Klk after replanting another reason to get rid of felda land n fgv needs new management team.
3.Europe is against deforestation n if they come out with policies not to buy palm oil, they are not wrong. m'sia n Indon shd make open statement n policies to "stop deforestation" instead should tell planters to increase the yield in the existing land like IOI, KLK n UP. Figuratively increasing the land bank. Dont forget S... a leading GLC with vast experience getting only 20mt after replanting which means they are not in the buisness.Yield increases with supervision n not by talking. U can come with best yield but without supervision it becomes a "dead yield".
4.Labour n fertiliser cost is increasing hence yield got to be in the region of 24mt at least to counter Elnino n lower palm oil prices. I am talking basics n common sense.
5.We hope the new management that is planning to take over Fgv work hard to increase the yield 24mt n eventually share price like United Plantation.

Fgv got MSM, down stream buisness n smallholders, question arises once exit from felda land why some rich Cos want to inject their assets into fgv n take over d management???, need experts to comment.
