there's no harm to go in and out on the upward journey. protection of capital and profits over everything.

holding long term may be a decent strategy, but if you want the least risky way of making money;

1. sell during euphoria, buy during retracements/corrections (these are inevitable; no counter is forever parabolic)

2. the key thing is to be consistently in profit. even if this means you may lose out on some gains, you can't go wrong progressively taking profits and re-entering at "low" points (as long as fundamentals remain unaffected).

The counter is currently overbought. It's a good time to take profit; re-enter upon the inevitable correction. This is how to maximize profits.

the risk is that the PP holders dump their PP shares for a nice profit tomorrow. If they don't; then it's all good.

a fair assessment would be:

silterra seems like a given. plus the rising price of crude and the cable project. the mid to long term prospects for this counter should be good.

but nicholas99's concern about the PP is fair also. cheap buy in at 0.2 does pose a bit of risk, if the PP holder decides to take profit tomorrow upon issuance.

it's a 50-50 thing i reckon.
