greatman, my view is this...
in general, under a major down trend of a share it is normal to expect to see the price retreat once nearing or hit the resistance level...
now syf is on correction C ...has it bottomed?? if you take correction A as a guide then probably not...and now is on a short term rebound... notwithstanding this, it is noted that it had broke out of the resistance level at 36.5 two days ago and the next resistance is at 39/40 so if it broke this level the next one is waiting at 45 after breaking 42 first... obviously taking out 45 it would be boom time charlie...
the broken support is now at 36.5
presently into its third up day so i guess you need to watch 24/7 this birdie syf to decide to cuddle or bid goodbye as sentiment among traders is indeed very temperamental and a fleeting one.
then what about bursa --- the general consensus is more down turn is anticipated
institutions are on stand by mode to take profit on any rally
that being the case, it would be prudent to follow the big guys' game plan... a bird in hand is better than two in the bush, i reckon

if you were to pose me that question, the answer is a NO. why? this down turn is steep and severe where you would hardly see the pullback (which differed from tr) a case in point is the apparent failed bullish piercing candle of yesterday where in most instances you would expect to see a reversal. so this would then be the set pattern and what i am concerned is that we are only witnessing the mid way of this down wave. and in a highly depressing downturn, the safe bet is on put warrant and short position trading. obviously staying on the sideline is another option.

bursa has granted ehw a wish of another two/three days of sunshine with the formation of the bullish reversal piercing candle confirmed by taking out 1629 then would be testing the gap down resistance at 1636. so just wonder if these two /three days rebound would be strong enough to do that. if it could within this short period it would step into that zone 1637 to 1660. in other words, the rebound would stop at either of these two levels.

then we get to rejoice this shortlived rebound for perhaps a couple of days..shortists would probably cover their position only when the index hit 1660-1665 ... herein is the second prediction we are going to make
