So I’m not sure how to feel about this. I knew something was fishy that it was taking them so long to reply. The last time I sent them an email, the response came back in less than an hour. These celaka fellas have time to write this long post but no time to write even a one-line reply to me. And looks like I wasn’t the only one who wrote in to them. Even a “hold” or “buy” would have been enough honestly. Turns out they were aggressively buying and didn’t want any competition. I guess people are always the same eh - forever putting their own self interest first.

But I cannot complain I guess. My fault also for not being more decisive when the opportunity was there. I also noticed someone keep buying all the shares in the queue just a few seconds after they appeared during the selldown but I didn’t take any action. I also always tell forum member not to rely on anyone else for advice but turns out I myself was doing the same and hoping for them to point me in the right direction. Not going to make this mistake ever again :(

Also, I have a funny feeling these guys are foreigners. Too professional and who the hell writes long posts like this with perfect English at 4 am???

I am also going to be honest here - after almost 4 months, yesterday was the first time where I was genuinely worried about my investment in Ideal. Seeing a huge selldown like that in ANY company will definitely make ALL of us think twice and I was waiting to see if it continued in the afternoon or even today. It did not and in actual fact, it only lasted about 10-15 mins yesterday - which is so uncharacteristic of a "dump". If you know your charts, you will know that dumpers do 1 of 2 things to maximise profit - they either selldown as the stock breaks a new high when demand is also at its highest OR they sell down in waves so that demand in the buy queue builds up with each subsequent selloff and they're able to extract the maximum amount of profit. The fact is neither happened yesterday and the whole "selloff" by the big fish was over in at most 15 minutes! Whatever happened after 11.45 and in the afternoon session is merely the ikan bills REACTION to the selloff. There was no large sell orders of more than 100K shares at one go beyond 11.45 as far as I remember.

I also did not count the exact number of shares sold by the big fish but I think it should be between 1-1.5 million shares (@Warn3r, 4.2 million is the TOTAL volume for the whole day and NOT the number of shares sold by the big fish alone). If the big players had continued dumping throughout the afternoon and at any point today, then I think we should have every reason to be worried. But the fact that they didn't actually gives me confidence that it could be a one-off event.

That being said, I still urge you all to be cautious and wait at least until tomorrow - if there is no more dumping where 100K shares or above are disposed at one go, then the stock will definitely be oversold and be due for a rebound next week. I also wouldn't encourage you all to hope that this stock will move up so fast. It is not it's nature. So if you're reading this as a contra player, I would actually urge you not to buy because you will then have to sell at a lower price if the stock doesn't go up immediately. And always remember - price does NOT equal value. Just tell that to anyone who sold before the QR - it's not like the information was not available publicly for us to see. It's just that some people CHOSE not to see it because they were too greedy and wanted an immediate profit and so relied on the market to set a price for them. In the end, it was their loss so don’t say you have not been warned.

Don't mention it, guys. I think it is my duty to put cheating swindlers like @spygame007 in their place - or at least provide some check and balance to his bullshit for the benefit of other forum members who come here to look for genuine direction on their investments. And I promise you all that as long as he keeps making baseless claims and spreading false rumours, I will ALWAYS be here to point it out and put him in his place. Sometimes, being quiet and hoping that idiots like him will eventually get bored and go away is not enough. We have to fight fire with fire. I mean, this idiot has been spreading false rumours about Ideal ever since the stock was consolidating around RM1.30. If he didn't buy it then, do we think he's going to stop now, even when the stock is so low at RM1.45??? Of course not! So bring it @spygame007. I am more determined than ever now to call you out on your bullshit. Every time you comment something that's either untrue or without any evidence, I will counter it with the correct fact or repost all of your previous false statements just to remind everyone here (both new and old members alike) about your insincerity and malicious intentions.

And yes @spygame007, I am a long-term investor in this counter. And I have no reason to cut loss since my average cost is still very low, even compared to today's market price. But unlike you where you spend all your time and energy persuading others to sell, I rather spend it doing my research to make sure my investment is sound - irrespective of the circumstances of the market at the time. The market is not rational and sometimes, "black swan" events like yesterday does happen and we cannot stop it. But it will be very foolish for us to react to it and follow the herd when we don't know with absolute certainty the reason behind the selloff.

Just tell me something - do you think it would have been rational for any of us to sell Ideal when it was on a downtrend from RM1.40 to RM1.30 for 1.5 months before the last QR result? Yes, many people were selling even back then only because they were frustrated that the stock was not going up BUT did it change the fundamentals of the company in any way??? Absolutely NOT. The QR came out with the figures exactly as some of us here had predicted based on our research and the results were there for all to see - a beautiful limit up.

The same principle applies to yesterday's event - so long as we have no reason to believe that ACTUAL insiders of the company (not your fake imaginary "friends") are disposing, I will continue to remain invested just like many of you here. That means until we see an announcement by Bursa stating that director X or director Y has sold Z number of shares on 26/09, yesterday's anomaly can best be explained by an early accumulator disposing for whatever reason - maybe personal, maybe financial - who knows? Either way, I think he still definitely made a handsome profit which in some way explains why he was not hesitant to dump it all at one go.

Stock

2018-09-27 16:49 | Report Abuse

And his last comment about the rights issue really makes me angry and I'll tell you why. I think our friend here has been inspired a little by the SAPNRG right issue saga and the immediate effect it had on the share price so he has decided to use that here. Fact is, Ideal is a company with almost ZERO debt and the directors have no reason whatsoever to call for a rights issue when going to a bank would be far easier. Even when they needed to raise cash the last time, they opted for an RCPS and even then, the director himself personally subscribed to the entire allocation. Does this sound like a company that even needs our f**king cash honestly????

Anyways, I am still waiting for iqapex's reply and I really want to know what they'd do in a scenario like this. Last time they replied my email, they did say they were quite surprised by the limit up and also a little disappointed that the stock price went up so high as they were looking to accumulate some more - which probably explains why they haven't published Part 4 yet? Idk and I am not going to speak on their behalf so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

But what I can say for sure is everything @spygame007 has said about insiders and quarterly losses been utter bullcrap and I have no reason AT ALL to believe that whatever he is saying now is the truth. And I think I'll be happier just holding on to what I have rather than selling too early and regretting it later. Just take a moment to think about all those people who had listened to @spygame007's comments about the QR loss and sold before the gap up.

Ok, lets clear the air a little. I think some of you here are maybe thinking too much about @spygame007. I am also guilty of this. Based on everything he has said so far in this forum, he is definitely not a sophisticated trader/investor (go and read back everything he has said about the graphs and if you're a technical analyst yourself, you will quickly realise it's utter bullshit) nor does he sound like a disgruntled employee or someone with a grudge against the company (I think people like this won't waste their time talking to ikan bills like us in the hope of crashing the stock). EVEN IF in the unlikely scenario that he actually knew someone in the company, why is he being so nice to us by telling us exactly what's going to happen in return for nothing? If anything, distributing insider information like this can lead you to being caught and prosecuted by the Securities Commission so surely by doing all of this, he has something to gain right? Otherwise, why take the risk right???

Given all the evidence, it is more likely that he is just an ikan bills like most of us here that wants to buy this stock that he himself knows very well is fundamentally strong at a price that is very attractive. Only difference between him and us is that he's not afraid to lie and use deception as a way of persuading at least some of us to sell in the hopes of bringing the price down. Its exactly why he spends so much time and energy trying to persuade everyone here to sell. Except that almost every other time he has failed and then luckily for him, yesterday happened when a big fish somewhere actually sells 1 million shares for whatever reason (unlikely a pump and dump considering this big fish has sold quite low relative to the high price the stock achieved last week - if it was a pump, then why not dispose when the stock hit 1.70 so you maximise your own profit? In my opinion, whoever sold must have accumulated at a very low cost and is just plain frustrated to see the stock not moving fast enough for his/her liking). Truth is, neither @spygame007 nor any of us here knows exactly why the big fish sold and it may not have anything to do with the prospects of the company per se for all we know. I'm also almost certain it's not an insider considering they own millions worth of the stock and even a small crash like yesterday can have an effect on their net worth, which in turn affects their ability to use their shareholdings as collateral for loans etc.

Hi guys, I'm not sure why today happened and like most of you, I'm just as surprised. The only positive I see is that the selldown happened very quickly within a span of 15 minutes and the price has recovered just as quickly. WB's also barely moved. I emailed iqapex just now asking what I should do (I've been in touch with them before and they gave me some good advice the last time) so I'm just waiting for their reply. I know for sure they're waiting to accumulate and maybe they got their chance today, I don't know. Let's wait and see.

Also, I take back what I said the last time. Don't queue anymore. If you do, you're inviting those big players to sell in bulk like what they did just now. Unless you die, die really want to buy at that price. On the flip side, if the queue was not there earlier, the price would've gone even lower because the dumping happened using a market sell order.

@kasinathan, would love to hear your analysis on how you can reach a figure of 1 or 2 million when they have had an excellent track record in the past and record inventories in the present quarter. You're either joking or bloody delusional.

Or maybe just someone looking to accumulate cheaply. If its the latter, then judging by the post QR performance yesterday and to some extent, today - good luck!

That being said, my advice would be not to rush to buy. This is probably the most incredible stock you'll find on Bursa (from a fundamental, future earnings & shareholder backing perspective) but it can be quite illiquid (lack of queued orders) on some days. This means that when the operators or sharks start buying, it drives the price up very rapidly but the reverse also applies when the price falls. If there are only 1-2K share orders at every price level, someone selling 10K shares in one go can cause a steep drop of at least 5-6c and we've seen this happen many times over the past few weeks. The same applies when someone buys big as we saw in the morning over the past 3 days when the share price shoots up like a rocket.

So, please just be patient and queue your order. Don't worry, you won't miss out (I guarantee it) simply because it's not going to go up forever and there will always be sellers but at least you won't end up buying high only to be left stranded when a small-time contra player decides to take profit and the price drops by 5-6c just because there were insufficient orders in the queue. But most importantly, as a retailer, you also want to make sure you're buying at the best price and to buy your WHOLE investment at the market price is perhaps not the wisest thing to do - esp if there is a chance the price could quickly drop in the next few minutes just because of one sell order and lack of bids - a silly reason really! But you see my point right?

@swordwa2 nope, not that I’m aware of. Revenue per quarter is calculated as a % of total costs so margins should be the same throughout the project. However, margins can improve when there’s a reduction in costs - eg. the latest SST exemption for building materials.

And no, I believe you're mistaken about the quarterly earnings part. You cannot just take the unbilled sales and divide it by current q revenue to get estimates for the remaining q's. You have to follow the estimated completion date when calculating. For i-Global (forestville, foresta), its 2Q2020 so at least another 8 quarters of similar earnings. Follow iqapex calculations - I think they've got it bang on point.

Unbilled sales is also not the complete figure - it does not include sales made where there has been yet to be collection of cash from loan proceeds nor does it include the remaining 10% unsold units for all three projects. Unbilled sales is merely accrued revenue (I'm not sure if I'm using this term correctly) that is more or less certain but cannot be included on the balance sheet/P&L statement until the contractor fulfils performance obligations.

And as for new property injections, it should not be an issue. Ideal's entire business model is based on property injections anyways and Ideal Property Group (the private company) launched at least 7 other projects this year alone. The chairman can pretty much cherrypick whichever one he wants to inject whenever he feels that revenue and earnings of his listed entity needs a boost. Ideal also subscribed to 51% stakes in 2 subsidiaries on 17 Nov last year and so far we don't know what these subsidiaries are for but it's very likely a vehicle for future projects.

Really wouldn't worry too much about future asset injections if I were you :)

Please stop chasing! Let the price level consolidate for a while. What goes up quickly can also come down very quickly - remember the limit up and how fast it crashed the next day? I rather see Ideal go up a few cents everyday rather than 30c in one day, only to lose all its gains the very next day.

Yeah, there is really nothing to worry about with this counter. You will not find a single other company on Bursa with the same kind of fundamentals and shareholding backing. Just hold and you will be rewarded. Trust me on this and I said the exact same thing many times 2-3 months ago after the QR1 release.

And if you're still in doubt, just remember that before the QR2 release, the stock actually declined from RM1.40 to RM1.30 for more than a month. Nobody was buying it and it's not because there was something wrong with the company - people just didn't know a lot about it and even now, it will take some time to gain traction.

Only iqapex has covered it. And they're just a small-time fund anyways. No other fund or investment bank has initiated coverage but when they do (and its usually only after their associates have accumulated a position in the company), you'll see the action in full swing.

Just be patient :)

@zaimi I hope this answers your question too. Asia Internet Holdings is the holding company (investment vehicle) for Dr Norraesah and Wong Thean Soon. They transferred 6.5 million shares from it into Wong Thean Soon's own brokerage account. This is usually done for personal reasons like proving source of wealth or as collateral for loans etc.

Stock

2018-09-12 08:19 | Report Abuse

@Daily8 not true.

The transaction was an inter-shareholder one - 1 large shareholder transferring to another. Norraesah and Wong Thean Soon go a long way back - they're both substantial shareholders (and directors) of MYeG as well and this kind of transaction is very common between them. It's not like the director was disposing on the open market. If they do, then we should be worried. Furthermore, the director also issued a statement even before the QR release stating her intention to deal (go check the announcements) so this particular transaction does not seem to be malicious at all to me.

Get your facts right.

Ok, although it's really hard to ignore and not call out the sheer stupidity that @spygame007 has been spouting on this thread, @xianchua is right - just ignore them. If you engage with idiots, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

That being said, I stress on what I had said last week. I do think there is very clear support at RM1.60. There was a 100k buy order filled at that price last Friday at 16:50:02. Another 140K shares were bought a few minutes prior between 16:36 and 16:37. That's almost 60% of the entire daily volume traded at a single price and when selling pressure was at it's highest. For a stock that's quite illiquid, these kind of orders are rare and is what some of us here would refer to as "sharks accumulating".

Same thing happened last Monday at 15:33 when 280K shares were bought in just 1 minute. It seems to me that whoever is accumulating knows very well that ordinary retailers will sell when there is a lack of action so instead of buying early during the day when there is at least some buying pressure from retailers and the price tends to rise, they choose to wait until the end of the day and just mop up all the excess supply in the sell queue.

Very clever I think and I just wanted to point that out. Ultimately, stocks move because of the moves made by the big sharks or funds with a lot of capital that can afford to drive the price up, not the ordinary retailers like you and I. So it always helps to notice the movements of these big players and judging by what I see, we now know for sure that somebody or a few parties are aggressively accumulating at lower levels. And they're happy to buy from the ordinary retailers who are impatient to hold so just be careful.

Even if it drops below RM1.60 due to a single random sell order, should rebound very quickly.

We should also see increased action since people are now more aware of this company and its earnings potential. As long as you’re not a contra player, you should be fine. Price should start running up again to gap-up levels pre-QR and post-consolidation.

II don't even think the good QR is causing the price to go up in the first place. The amount of volume this share is seeing isn't representative of above average QR earnings. The overall sentiment for this counter is very strong for some reason we still don't yet know.

The only thing we do know for sure is that there's a few big fishes trying to accumulate Revenue like mad. Even if you compare the buy vs sell volume since the rally started, it really doesn't make sense that someone is trying to "goreng" because for every 1 share sold, 3 are being bought. So who's accumulating the remainder? If this counter was being "goreng" by some short-sighted operator, we would already see some distribution by now. But it has never retraced significantly since the rally began and even when it did, volume was far lesser than when it was rallying. Just something for you all to think about.

And @apolloang, I stand corrected on Ken, you are right. I believe I have responded to your point about Ken before. I remember glancing through the annual report and immediately realising that they didn't have any future growth drivers if I'm not mistaken. Don't be like those people who sold between RM1.30 - RM1.40 and are now regretting it. Just hold and it is bound to appreciate over time. After reading iqapex's articles I have even more determination to do that now. Their analysis is so on-point and I really feel that this one is really a gem of a company.

@apolloang I would really urge you to go and read Part 2 of the article I mentioned. It explains why some property developers can make profit consistently every quarter while other like Ken are only 1-quarter-shows. You need to be able to really understand accounting, especially all the rules and regulations for property developers when it comes to financial reporting to make good investment decisions. That article was an eye opener for me too. I knew a little bit before that but I really learnt a lot from it. You can't just see earnings for one quarter and invest thinking it's going to continue forever.

Anyways, I hope that the rest of you will hold as well. The show has just started I believe. Even KYY once said that he only invests in companies with explosive growth over 2 quarters. Ideal just achieved that so there should be more interest in Ideal now. Remember the issue wasn't that the company was bad, it was that nobody even knew about Ideal or how amazing their financials were. But this QR and the iqapex posts should change that.

Here's to more profit from the most amazing small-cap property developer listed on Bursa!

Just so happy right now honestly. There is no better feeling in the world than finding a counter so undervalued, investing in it, have people trash talk about it to bring the price down (but failing miserably) and then seeing the numbers in the QR prove your decision to be correct. Today is a good day haha

It also means what my friend said about growth fund managers looking at this counter is true! Although I couldn’t find much information about the fund that wrote those articles. Would love to know more about them tbh
