Someone should lodge a complaint with the Securities Commission. I believe the top management pushed the recognition of profit on its projects to the previous quarter ended 31.3.2014 so that that qtr showed a huge profit to push up the stock price sky high. For the qtr ended 30.6.2014, revenue dropped to a paltry RM10 million, resulting in losses for the qtr. I am sure the top people in SEAL MADE A KILLING ON INSIDER TRADING AFTER THE PRICE SPIKE TO RM1.40 PLUS.

You are right on, bukit. I actually subscribed to 3 paid services. I gave up on one but I am still subscribed to OTB and Skyhawk services. I find both OTB and Skyhawk quite good but you must be prepared to hold.

I subscribed to paid investment tips that charged something like RM150 to RM200 where I received so many tips in a single day that I was just overwhelmed as to which tips to act on. And a lot of the tips were not accurate. After trying that service for one month, I gave up. Compared to newman's tips (which are FREE OF CHARGE!), I think the paid subscription was really not value for money at all. And I lost money in quite a number of the paid subscription tips that I acted on. So I think what newman is doing is really good. Free tips that often pan out well!

This is just a blog started by a person who has personal grudges against Newman. Just look at his i3investor id: kukuman. Any sane person would never have chosen an ID like that...cos kuku in hokkien means penis so this person is a penis man.Can you trust someone calling himself penis man? Just to set the record straight, I have followed a lot of newman's tips and I have made money from most of them. I don't expect newman's tips to be 100% accurate but I would be happy if his tips are 70% accurate. Don't blindly follow...do your homework too. I am happy to say that overall I have made quite a bit of money following newman's tips. I am not newman's cheerleader...I just want to share my personal experience.

I agree with newman. Calvin, I once held high regards for you because you write well. I was so convinced by your promotion of PMCorp that I really bought in big. It became the worst investment that I have ever made, causing me to lose a big sum (my biggest investment loss so far) I exited at about RM0.22 many months ago and the price is still around that level now. By following the tips of newman, I am slowing recouping the bog loss that I suffered from investing in OMCorp. Newman does not write as well as you but the most important thing i9s that he DELIVERS! I am tired of hearing tales of how you bought counters when they are so cheap and how you made small fortunes on those counters. I can also say that I asked my friends to buy SAAG when its price was around RM2 and it skyrocked to RM60, But what is the point? That is already history. Investors who visit i3investor forums want tips to make gains, not old tales. I hope you don't take this negatively. I dom't blame you for my PMCorp loss. It was my own decision and I just treat it as an expensive lesson. That is why the cliched saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" is so true. Newman may appear to write not as eloquently as you but he has truly helped lots of people including me.

azog, your eps calculation is wrong. The EPS for the latest qtr is only 0.48 sen. If you assume the same EPS for the next 3 qtrs then the total EPS is only 0.48 sen x 4, giving only 1.92 sen. That would give it a PE of 18.5, not 1.85!

I am not worried as I got out of Iris a couple of months ago. I just wish to highlight that timber extracting is not as simple as some people may think. It requires heavy capital investment, skilled labour and the backing of the government. And with corruption coming into play, there is a need to pay lots of kopi duit from the top to the bottom of many of the governemnt bodies.

Timber extraction is a very risky business especially when you are operating in PNG. There is just too much red tape, scams and corruption. Many Sarawakian timber tycoons found out the hard way when they expanded their timber operations to PNG. A company who has no experience in the timber industry will be wading into a minefield if it ventures into the timber industry in PNG. And the company will find western NGOs accusing them of a host of enviromental issues. Look at what is happening to HSBC in Sarawak!

I acted on all of them and made over RM2k and I still have almost RM1k in paper gain for Inari-wa and I also still hold 20K Insas shares....I sure hope tommorow will be another great day. I did not manage to sell my Hup Seng shares as I keyed in a bit high but it is ok. I will keep them and sell them once I can get the prices that I want. I exited a bit too early at 0.995 so my gain was limited to a few hundred dollars only. But a gain is still a gain, haha! Is it too late to buy DBHD tomorrow?

Just for your info, poorman, I am a successful professional earning a very good salary. Apart from investments in KLSE, I also invest in landbanking, gold and silver and a couple of online programs as well as a 1/3 share in a stationery company.

I am a regular visitor to i3investor.com but I have never bothered to register an account unitil today. I have seen the stupid posts of poorman and I feel that I have to post a rebuke about him.
