oil rebounded from a low of USD26 & RM strengthened from 4.40, this show that oversold position recovered. So, it should be reset to normal strategy as of now.

is the exporters source of earnings growth is driven solely by currency impact or by new capacity & product ?
if it's the former then may not sound good, in that case is VS fall under this category ? if so, better sell.

1H 2016, if RM continues to stay around the current level of above RM4 against USD, exporters will still show very strong year on year growth for their eranings

export oriented players will continue to show strong earnings growth year on year in the next months as the RM's weakness started in july & aug 2015

the o&g sector remains poor due to the global oil oversupply situation is unlikely to go away anytime soon

the export theme companies at the current levels 4.07 have corrected sharply & believe the RM appreciation would hv been priced in

observers opine investors should not sell exporters & put their $$ in o&g stocks given the limited upside for crude oil & the rm from current levels (4.07)
