nothingness you're very wrong. The layer tarrif is prorated to the number of billing days. Say the cheapest block is 200kWh but billing day is 5 days late, the allocation is increased to 35/30*200= 233kWh. In the following month TNB come on time, despite billing only 25 days they can't prorate to 25/30*200 but they must give 200kWh. So late bill is customer's gain & TNB's loss hence why TNB likes the smart meter to avoid losing money.

TNB is a good company they can make money. The problem is the government that wants to 'help' the people & force GLCs to do this & that without studying the impact. "TNB kan dah ada bilion2"...we have people of this kind of thinking in the ruling government now

Tariff reduction shouldn't happen when ICPT mechanism is there already. Just give rebates & maintain base tariff like in 2017. Maybe reporter & PM are unaware of ICPT.
