Stockraider should blame Evergreen who conned all his money. Why u so frustrated? Must be Evergreen doesn't pay u dividends. Oh haha...come to Hevea lah which pays dividends every quarter while waiting mah.

Only those companies with:
1) LOW DEBTS
2) HIGH CASH HOLDINGS
3) DOUBLE-DIGIT PROFIT MARGINS
4) DIVIDEND PAYING

...are going to attract investors' money.

Hevea shareholders are steadily receiving dividends at any price we bought in.

RM 36,039,000 (MONEY MARKET DEPOSIT)

Hevea's total borrowings at RM 15,489,000

Hevea's average earning power per quarter: RM 20,167,000

Stockraider is selling Hevea to pay for his Evergreen losses. No wonder he badmouthed it here.

That stockraider is just jealous loh. Hevea is a rock solid company with superb balance sheet which pays DIVIDENDS EVERY QUARTER. What else do u want to complaint? We can afford to wait.

When that other useless company cannot deliver, solid company like Hevea is delivering strong returns & results mah. Just look at results speaks louder than a thousand words or arguments.

We can wait with HIGH YIELD DIVIDENDS. What does that other useless company give shareholders & it always went down as usual? What name ah? Evergreen? Does it "EVER" green long-term? Nop. Long-term downtrend.

No one will be interested in that useless stingy high-debts company mah. No money how to reward shareholders? Better buy rock-solid Hevea.

Unlike some useless counter which pays no dividends with high debts, Hevea has lots of cash, low debts and more importantly it pays high-yield dividends so investors can wait while receiving div when it goes down.

Semiconductor sector is at all-time high already and pretty exhausted so it will be undergoing a correction anytime.

U look at the average PE in semiconductor producers ranging 21-27 averagely while furniture/wood-based manufacturers' PE ranging 9-12 averagely industry-wide.

If the manufacturers/exporters of such products unable to keep up with any improved earnings next, the PE will be ballooning up meaning getting more expensive valuations in the next few quarters ahead.

PE ratio of wood-based exporters are still low-ranging.

hng33, China is moving towards a domestically driven economy than exports. To achieve it sustain-ably, they will need to stop capital outflows first & quickly so that its citizens are spending domestically if not willingly. Nature of China chinese people is to diversify their wealth elsewhere due to many good reasons. Since China has amassed so much fortunes for the past decades but a lot of these wealth are channeled to overseas. Today, each is allowed only to bring 50k annually out of China but of course there is always creative ways of doing more. I see more money in FDI into M'sia before they import more from here.

Jack Ma was considered the earliest China delegate to meet Trump personally before his inauguration. The world already knows Jack is a very convincing negotiator, just watch at how he talks at any events and u can know he is able to persuade Trump and strike good deals for his country and US. That is why I've always known trade wars between the G2 is real slim.

So back to Hevea's situation. The stock being shorted at the right timing to be regarded as a correction deemed healthy because the long-term uptrend is still intact. Only from this correction then we can expect the uptrend continuation. After all, very rarely any stocks can rally up in a one-way straight up direction.

The chances of trade wars between US and China will be slim because Trump is a businessman who knows a trade war with China will be futile to the US and the rest of the world. Just observed the meeting between Xi and Trump in Washington recently is clear enough to know it's just a showdown and I'm confident it won't happen.

Wow icon sifu also buy Hevea. We sure win this time!

I don't think if US initiate trade wars with China will affect Hevea because Hevea's major export markets are in China for particleboard and Japan for RTA furniture.

Have a glimpse on this piece of news:
http://www.theedgemarkets.com/my/article/heveaboard-spend-rm20m-capex-increase-capacity-15

Yoong said the group will also introduce a new product, which is the health, environment and children friendly “KREA Kids” under its RTA segment this year.

Heveaboard’s main revenue streams come from its particle board production, of which 80% of total production is exported overseas; and RTA of which 90% are exported and 10% sold in the local market.

For the particle board, the group mainly exports to China (43.85%), Japan (12.28%), Korea (11.74%), India (10.56%) and other countries (8.21%), the remaining 13.36% being for the local market.

Under the RTA segment, the main importers of its products are Japan (62.46%), Europe (11.45%), Australia (11.86%) and United States (2.69%).
