@Letsrock Really? I must have missed that. I only saw that the main stock is being split and there were no mention of the warrant. But if there is, that means the warrant price will be halved as well, but at what price? Did the circular mention that? Previously my understanding is that the warrant won't be split, and that the conversion rate to mother stock will be halved. Meaning that instead of 1 warrant convert to 1 RM1.00 mother stock, it becomes 1 warrant convert to 2 x RM.050 mother stock.

Letsrock, I'm not an expert, but I think as long as the conversion is adjusted to whatever the stock split ratio is, there should be no change in the cost for existing warrant. It just means that you pay less (in this case 50% less) for one ordinary share when converting. But don't forget the ordinary share price has been halved in price. So unless the share price after split returns to what it is now, then existing warrant holders will benefit. Otherwise not much difference for people who buy warrant after share split. That's how I view it, if I'm wrong please tell me :) Cheers.

Warn3r, yes... don't look good. 100 days EMA at 1.20, so maybe you want to set a cut-loss point. But at the same time, I do think it will go sideways for some time, unless something big happens in the overall market.

"They probably will adjust the exercise price after share split", Yes thats what I think too. I have read the circular which also says they will be issuing the additional warrants, but its not a split like the mother stock. So warrant holders will not get new warrants. Does it mean current warrant price will be reduced? If that's the case, current warrant holders will lose out.

Does anyone know what will happen to the warrants in the subdivision practice? Will the price of the warrants be affected? Thanks

Haha... Hardly a professional. I'm not... just learn a bit chart reading and fundamentals so that I don't buy blindly. Just a simpleton who wants to make some money.

Well... it ain't too bad if you consider the climate of KLCI right now. Yes it is highly manipulated and yes there's too much insider information. But I never trade on insider information. Chart never lie, as it will show you what the market sentiment is. On my chart i have 20, 50 and 100 set up as well as bollinger chart to help with quicker view of sentiments. But all this will mean nothing to me if the fundamentals aren't there. Ideal's fundamentals are still pretty good imho. If you are already holding some, probably can hold on for the time being, but if you're looking to buy, maybe like Anoymm says, hold your cash and wait for the right signal to go in. Take a look at other stocks in KLCI, not many has healthy charts as well as 'ok' or better fundamentals. Ideal is certainly part of the those that have. Again, this is only my own views, not expert :)

I hope I'm right again this time about Ideal going sideways for the time being. So far I have made at least 5 to 6 rounds. Not always making a lot, sometimes 10-15%, but a few times lucky enough to catch a big one. Best was last August when it hit limit up, and I had just bought in 2 weeks before base purely on chart and fundamentals. Check out the fundamentals, although I wouldn't depend my life on it, but together with a little chart study, I think it should minimize risks.

I look purely at charts and fundamentals. To me anything else is noise. Of course buying/selling sentiments are important, and that is what the charts really are. For me, I look at EMA and Bollinger charts only. Want to keep it simple. Study fundamentals to support buy/hold call. But like I said, I'm no expert, just learning here and there and applying what I learn. Hardest part to learn is to cut-loss, but its also most important.

I was never gone :) Just staying quiet... trading my stock and minding my own business :) Best thing is to do your own study... I just come in and see what the sentiments are... lol.

Hi all... just from my observation of Ideal's chart, it is still above its 50 day and 100 day ema. I suspect that this stock will be traded sideways for a while as long as the 20, 50 and 100 day ema lines do not cross over and head downwards. For now it still doesn't look too bad, as this week is probably a retracing week from the good performances from last 2 weeks. Market sentiment still looks positive from KLCI's ema chart. Ideal's recent earnings report although short of ideal, it is comparatively well as many others in the same sector are in red. I like this stock because it has a nice ROE, NAPS and PNAPS value. At the current price of around 1.20, it is still considered undervalued. This is only my own finding, please do not quote me on it and please do not make this your decision making statement. I'm just sharing my views. I'm not an expert either, just a wannabe :) Have a nice day.

Eric Eng, its actually very good price. KGB is still good fundamentally. All things considered though, the climate of the market right now is.... gloomy :( Rewind back 2-3 months ago, KGB was a hidden gem. Hopefully when the correction is done, KGB would be able to rebound faster than the rest.

I think ALL sectors are down in Malaysia. Even when regional markets or world markets are up, you can see Malaysia is lacklustre. Political instability plays a part in this and very much so especially when opposition party now is able to capitalize on recent fumbles of the PH government. Remember opposition still has a lot of "unknown source" money that they can use to manipulate "anything" just to make PH government look bad. Best thing that can happen is quickly incarcerate the people involved to stabilize the political grounds a little. Be careful when trading out there..

339% profit but still not much movement in this stock. I guess high PE and the low ROE is affecting its stock price growth.

Agree with Reds. Contra here might get you burnt. Unless you're a gambler... then close eye and test luck. Having said that, I've been in and out of Ideal-wa several times and made some good bucks out of it. Today's double bottom breakout is something unexpected though. Fortunately I was keeping some warrant still. Congrats to those who have been keeping too :)

In out warrant from last wednesday till today, exactly one week. Made 30%... pretty decent I would say :) Hope you guys made a killing too.

Recovered and holding nicely this counter. Even yesterday also.

This stock was hot for a while and then it stay pretty much quiet... The volume has been pretty thin, next to nothing.

Hi guys, so everyone had a good time collecting cheap IDEAL stocks? I reckon its a good time re-enter this stock now. Having said that, the DJ lao sai just only started. If it the only day, then of course all is all fine. Just be careful it might only be a start of what is to come in the coming few days. Ideal is really at a bargain now though. So I'm going in with some caution :)

Any chance for limit up today? Its not far away... :))

For those thinking of going in I would wait it out before going into this counter again. If it falls below 1.30, psychologically, it will dive even more. For those already in it, cut loss? Don't be sentimental with stocks. We're all in it to win and make money, not to have a relationship with them. Live to fight another day/time. Cheers!

Whatever the reason is. I have traded this counter with the chart as my guide and when i see an inverted "w" I run. I'm fortunate to still take some profit from it, but I do hope for the sake of you guys, it will have a technical rebound next week.

Whatever iqapex say doesn't do anything for me. End of the day all i do is read chart, read reports, read forum for sentiments, make decision. What selective has say is correct, they took their chance first before letting you retailers know whats happening. Selfish? Hardly. Its self preservation. But only if you believe what iqapex is true. Remember who are the chicken and who are the crocodiles in the market.

Btw, I cabut ideal already but made 2 good rounds of profit, plus 1 round of loss. Saw O&G is current market trend since Crude oil is on the rise. But I will be keeping Ideal in my eyesight still, its still a good company.

Although I don't agree with what spygame is doing, I do throw some cautious over to short term traders. I see from the daily chart that Ideal has form an inverted "w", or head and shoulders. It could be in for some correction and consolidation after its meteoric rise. Ideals 20, 50 and 100 days ema is still intact. For mid to long term, I think Ideal is still fundamentally sound. My 2c. Disclaimer: I'm not an expert, just from my own observation and I always study my own charts and fundamentally analysis, as well as see what sentiments people have in the forum. So please take my comments with a grain of salt :)

I suspect Spygame is a disgruntled employee or family member or partner of Ideal. I'm in this forum to see what others are saying about some stocks. I'm guilty of not contributing any useful information regarding the company to help others but only taking. However, I do think its much better than coming in only to spread fear and slander without any substantiated remarks. Still have to thank Spygame tho,.. because everytime he comes in and say something bad, its like a sign that the stock will go up.... He's probably Ideals best lucky charm :)

Its easy to say that people are trapped when the stock is going down (after a big limit up mind you). Anyone smart can see that the overall market is down due to plethora of changes in business flow for the whole of Malaysia due to GST to SST transition. The uncertainty but optimistic outlook of Malaysia certainly will make everyone more cautious.

So glad I listen to you guys selective_contrarian and The_Reds! Thanks! Of course I did do make my own research on the charts and fundamentals, but your confidence gave me even more confidence! Only regret didn't masuk more! :)
