Sardin81 - sorry I strongly disagree on your views of selling and buy back. As follows please find a hypothetical situation where someone bought 10,000 shares at 0.60 and cut loss at 0.50. Then they buy back 50,000 shares at 0.10. This is much better than doing nothing. Just my 2 cents opinion. Once again sorry you you get offended.

Can I advise you something. Most of these IDSS sellers are syndicate players. They work in a group to buy and sell. They have queues at both buy and sell at the same time, so called shifting shares from right pocket to left pocket and vice versa. Their aim is like everyone here, to make money. Blaming them is useless. We need to learn to follow the tide. They have deep pockets and small retailers cannot win against them. Their aggressive selling in a bear market create fears resulting in panic selling where herd instinct kick in. They attack strongest when there are margin calls on the shares which is a vicious cycle. The more the IB sell to cover back the margin %, the lower the prices get and hence more selling which lowers the prices even more.

Star is a fair company at great price and not a great company at fair price.

Hello - in a bear market or when panic selling there is no safe price. Especially when there are short selling activities and margin calls selling, which is a vicious cycle making the selling price lower and lower.

Hello - can. I advise you something. You should plan your trade and trade your plan. Not base on general comments without constructive input. Helpful advise will need to consider your buying price and holding power and the reason you buy the shares in the first place. Don’t buy and sell base on emotions but on the company fundamentals and earnings prospect.

No need to worry, company still profitable and cash rich at about 0.44 per share and NTA at 1.11. Major Properties held not revalued since 1990 or early 2000. No chance of going bankrupt. Operations is getting leaner and improving albeit in sun set industry.
With dividend of say 2 cents can continue to pay over 20 years. The DY is 5.7% at current price of 0.35. Just buy and hold on tight tight and treat as FD.

Please refer to the followings :-Changes inmaterial litigation - Due to the impact of trade war between China and USA, economic slowdown in china and outbreak of swine fever, the Peoples’s Government had initiated a financial assistance to special category of business such as food industry’s company to avert any possible financial crises in the near future. One of the subsidiary had entered into this arrangement with Xing Ye Bank Co. Ltd, Rizhao Branch and also endorsed by the Court on the pledging of its properties and two guarantors provided for an amount of RMB14.4 million to apply this special financial assistance. This subsidiary also negotiated with other banks for this special financial assistance on its current borrowing and may needed further endorsement by the Court in near future.

mcmann - based on This Q vs previous Q, Revenue increased 40.9% to 87.34 mil. Of which IT increased 52.8% and Energy 9.1%. PBT decreased by 25.4% to 7 mil. IT PBT increase >100% but Energy loss 3.7 mil compared to 6.78 mil profits in last Q. Energy sector is dragging down Dnex performances. Comparatively this Q tax also very high at 6.3 mil which drag down the PAT to 0.3 mil. Will be good if can disposed Ping at a profit and free up cash.
