Those who think this is a lousy stock, just SELL nobody can stop you...

The bargain is back...yes sifu tolle, 8.10 is attractive...if can lower better :) more reason to top up....waiting to round off my holding to "half a ------- units" ....still short of 64 :p

@staypositive....I missed the boat on early October...if it's coming back, I will top up some...if not, I just see song song only.
...actually to long term investor, what's important is the business and the dividend (that's the real deal)...not the share price...because it's for see song song only :)

Agree with Sharefisher......opening news have already been factored in....from now onward the stock will trade more on fundamental than on sentiment....and also on market direction.

KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 10): Khazanah Nasional Bhd has successfully completed a placement of 138.4 million shares in CIMB Group Holdings Bhd (CIMB Group) at RM4.80 per share, raising gross proceeds of RM664.5 million.

The placement price represents a 2.8 per cent discount to the CIMB Group’s closing market price of RM4.94 on Sept 8, 2021.

Private placement is better than selling the stocks in the open market.

Khazanah also placed out CIMB at a discount a few weeks back....now, the shares rally.

CIMB and RHB have been outperforming the banks rally....

...they have one thing in common....they trade below book value.

...CIMB PE is at 13....and RHB PE is 9...

...so, it's obvious that foreign funds are buying banks which have good value...those trading at low PE , low price to book and high dividend.

...for those who are still hunting....don't miss the boat...BUY MBB

....PE 12 times....PB 1.1 times....dividend yield 7-8 %.

Profit taking well absorbed, volume traded higher than PBB....very good.
