Shares like public bank dont just go up based on profits based on loans...
Other factors that cause public bank to go up...
Inflation
Low interest less fds more money in markets to buy shares..
Fds that stay means less payment from banks to depositors..
Efficiacy coming from digital banking

Many other reasons...
So even if interest go down bank profits and earnings per share can still go up n so can share price...PE depends on how much market willing to pay...

1. Yes public bank can. Anyone can be no.1 as in bursa its about money.

2. Buy Public bank. Maybank is good but i dont like the high dividend reinvestment. N got lots of extras maybank n do away with but potential is alot in maybank. I oso prefer hlbank for growth..

In jan 2019 public bank was rm25
Then in covid april 2020 it went down to almost rm12.
If u top up when down good...if u buy it going up then good.
But if u keep waiting n looking at it with hope if comes down n u buy it..
You will never a good price..cos ur emotions control.wat u buy it at..
Disciple is crucial in buying at good price...

Should not look an analyse public bank share price everyday..its not that kind of counter..
If u have an open position in a loser share then its ok..
Same with strong bluechips..
