My guess is that they cannot get the land from Perbadanan Islam Johor (“PIJ”) to cultivate the rubber trees... so some possible future revenue lost there.... no reason to panic and sell the stock

The Malaysian Timber Industry Board has cancelled a RM22.5 million term loan to Lii Hen Industries Bhd's unit, PPL Plantation Sdn Bhd, after Johor Islamic Corporation disagreed to a deed of assignment to be signed prior to the execution of the facility agreement.

In a filing with the stock exchange, Lii Hen said, with this, a corporate guarantee it was supposed to provide in return for the loan is also cancelled.

Lii Hen stressed that the cancellation of the loan will not have any significant effect on the earnings per share, net assets per share, share capital and substantial shareholders' shareholdings of the company for the current financial year.

It also said the plantation infrastructure development expenditure of PPL Plantation is through internally generated funds of Lii Hen.

The loan was to finance Lii Hen's rubber tree planting for a 2,500ha plantation of hevea brasiliensis (latex timber clone).

So i guess their plan to plant their trees bungkus?
