Actually I have been accumulating below RM2. Have sold many times when prices run up and bought back when prices dropped. My average cost is currently below RM1.90. Affin is way undervalued with net assets of around RM4.60. The problem lies with the weak major shareholders who have been selling down from time to time. Even Boustead sold down cheaply and only last month they started to buy back. In the past LTAT and EPF have sold down cheaply. It's time like this that I would buy. The only way to unlock the true value of Affin is through a merger and takeover like in Bplant's case.

@SeekUndervalued, no target price, I go with the flow. My cost of SgBagan share is RM3.25.

If we do the maths the fair market value of 1 Kuchai share is 0.222 SgBagan share market price plus 61 sen net cash.

The whole exercise will take many months. Sg Bagan has many months to slowly climb.

Kuchai going limit up on Monday allowed me to completely exit for a handsome gain. Still holding on to Sg Bagan as it has potential to climb further. Will the market price of Sg Bagan be pushed up closer to RM10 in order to make the related transaction appear fairer?
