(“Study”), wherein all 25 volunteers had been vaccinated with inactivated
polio vaccine (“IPV”) (“Subjects”). The serological evaluation had
shown 100% (percent) of the Subjects post-IPV immunization had developed
specific antibodies in their blood samples after inoculation that recognized
both poliovirus RdRp and SARS-Cov-2 RdRp without any adverse events being
reported by the Subjects during the Study.

EBI is currently in the midst of submitting an application to FDA for the
request of an expansion of this cohort of Subjects to 275 Subjects, which will
be subjected to FDA’s review on the aforementioned interim report. This
expansion of the original cohort will be stratified by age and race or
ethnicity.
