well, no need to wait tomorrow. you see the share price today you already know unhappy investors are dumping the stock and may continue tomorrow. The sandakan power plant, the join billing and the NRW project is very old story. Is the story there since the listing, i am not sure but i guess so, please correct me. High gearing is normal for utilities stock, but if high gearing and low dividend yield is abnormal. Moreover, de-gearing should start last year after they sell some asset but only see little improvement. If the Sandakan power plant or any other project get green light, since already high gearing very high chances they will ask money from shareholder. So you wait the project to commence 4 years, build the plant 3 years, issue new share to fund the project which diluted the EPS, and get dividend yield of 2.++ % for 7 years...not looking good. Hopefully they either make good use of the cash to run their new project or sustain the high dividend yield to support the share price. Otherwise, more downside for the share price

Yeah. Goldis has higher NTA, only for now. If take over go through, dont forget Goldis will issue new share, so in the end everything will come to a square. Existing IGB shareholder does not enjoy anything but selling everything at dirt cheap price and handling billion of hard cash to Goldis. Wait for few years until Southpoint and southkey project complete, you will see profit improve and share price will follow.

As for why Goldis is paying less dividend and IGB is paying dividend well, i guess is because Goldis need to serve the interest of their preference share. So, IGB is the ATM machine for Goldis, thats why now IGB enjoy higher dividend. If take over go through, mostly they will tell you they need to reserve cash for development. So after serving the enlarge Preference Share, nothing much can pay for dividend.

The idea is pollution control in China is shutting down factories so the gloves demand will divert to malaysia glove manufacture, so the concern supply exceeded demand is receded. It is a catalyst for short term, my point of view.

Well, PE is just at normal range. stable profit is true. Dividend yield most likely will be at 5% for the coming years at the current price until profit from new project kicks in. Hopefully HQ relocation could help them to save some millions. The two acquisitions recently are burning cash and not promising anything at this stage, it could drag yearssss to materialize the project. How they fund the project is another question, hopefully not asking money from shareholder.
