Read carefully along the lines why Krishna Tan made a comment that ijm is not here to play up the stocks a day earlier before Abu's comment. Abu is already pressuring him.....either way, if I am awarding a contract, I will make sure I kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I will award a bigger contract to the company with 2 cronies better than 1 right?
Yes but depending whether Abu wants the limelite. Why should he use his capabilities to get a big contract and the limelight and majority money goes to Krishna tan and ijm respectively.
So how to get this and be appease? Get a bigger buy in the shares so that hard work is compensated equally right? Then only as a businessman that would make sense....my influence is my money.....and compensation should be based on that...

I can more or less see where Abu will come from.....as still considered not privy to the information as I believe, abu buying a stake in now sees the debt being pared down and is expecting bottom line to increase based on this as he is seeing pipeline for project to increase inline with IJM capability and stakes.
With his stakes here, you can expect him to be more prevalent as they move along, because he himself is an aggressive character in business.

The decision from the legal suit on SC must answer the basic to ensure no manipulation by any conglomerate or any companies in M&A exercise base purely on technical. This should be prevalent of the outcome and lessons learned from Sime for this case and also Sime on the takeover of Sime Bank earlier and should not have allowed this to happen again.

As the stakes increases for Abu and Siew the harder for IJM to carry out execution as more and more of the operations will involve Abu especially. This may force the IJM folks to increase their stockholding....remember MGO can happen either few ways, concerted which mean one can prove Abu&Siew are in concert with IJM (later maybe not now) or Abu&Siew increase their holding close to the 24% held by IJM and thus forcing a GO as decision will be difficult when 2 parties of equal voice can run the company.
Here they have to be very careful like the E&O case, as 9% will force GO and lesser than that will have the concert Abu&siew tag team up their stakes.

The 2 gentleman, Siew and Abu, will be provoking and pressuring Krishna and IJM as I said much earlier. Watch for the buyout.....when they are fed up with this 2 when the pressure mounts as the more shares are purchase by the 2.

OTB, what you term as GLC is only surface, there are also those that are not GLC but treated as one especially those by Syed Mokthar. Some of Syed Mokthar's business is part GLC but do a check on the rest and you may find some which does not have Khazanah or other Govt investment arm invested also get by the same guarantee.

Definitely a guarantee loan is a debt....in fact it's a running debt and exposure during recession or euro crisis because today's companies are not only base local but abroad where there will be outflow. In addition, Asian countries are buying more into UK and Eurozone during current crisis and can be seen as opportunity or bigger exposure due to the fact that there are still a lot of exposures from their banking system and exposures in derivatives.

Why is change necessary?
US have moved a long way fr times when white supremacist are king in certain states to what they are today....don't get me wrong, they still exist but their laws are constantly evolving to curb this
In Malaysia we moved fr race segregation by the British through job and skill specific to racial improvement to muhibbah, to ketuanan melayu....isn't this the wrong direction? We are not amending laws to curb the light of Perkasa or Riddhuan, but in fact we are encouraging them because of ?? Back to segregating the race again?

Change is not always good as Mahathir wants you to believe
But change is necessary because as you can see UMNO never change and we will have difficulty moving forward with corruption, race issue,, sex scandal, monopoly of cronies...

It's not that I don't and did not give BN a chance. As I have said many times, I have supported Najib, but he came out empty on the 1 Malaysia slogan, he came out empty on the crime rate, he came out empty on his ability lead head on against the opposition leader, he came out empty on addressing corruption in BN (leave alone the corruption in the country) he came out empty in mediating deaths in police and Macc and Altantuya and now he came out empty on the decision to lead when there was intrusion In Lahad Datu.
What kind of leader do you want for your country?

There are only 5% tax payers in Malaysia...this are majority Non Malays and specific Chinese ......rest are either earning below 2.5k, or don't declare tax, or retired or pay zakat. So if majority Chinese and Indian are paying tax, why are they short change of everything up to scholarship, and rights and yet are called pendatang.
Why out of these smaller minority the Chinese and Indians have more in top 10 riches and in fact top 2 in Malaysia when scholarships are predominantly given to the bumiputras?
Why are the top 2 sport personalities sportsman and sportswoman are Chinese and Chindean but not Malays when they are the majority? Why the yesteryears top sportsman were Malays, Chinese and Indians but not today
All these if you look at it realistically, especially the NEP have spoilt the Malays more than help them.....after all majority of the scholarships are not paid back and yet they continue to say that the Non Malays should be grateful?
While we criticize the White supremacy groups like KKK in the US but the 1 Malaysia administration adores the equivalent in Perkasa
While we criticize Benghazi and Guantanamo, we have MACC and PDRM who have frequent death of their detainees. And yet the Hilary as secrectary of state have to answer to the senate of foreign affair for Benghazi intrusion but our death of detainees have no proper persecution.
While Najib does not want debate citing that we don't practice American debate, he chose to do the GTP ETP announcement as state of the union. Isnt this all contradictory?
So for supporters of double talk and hypocrisy, Malaysia do prevail in this category because if you think about it, this was created by a policy by Mahathir 26 years ago and the effect is seen today and yet a lot still deny....I would like to state that the bumiputra can be as competitive as before ESP in sport if spoon feeding for reason of creating dependency stops!
