Vivo is a different company set up now vs Instacom.
Now they look more solid set up and ready to push for MB vs last time.
Perception of Insta still haunts vivo though...
If they get to MB, it will benefit the Vivo board and of course all us...minority shareholders

Some research houses have written articles and given price targets ...all more than 40c
This will help Vivo getting investors...and yes...vivo need solid investor.
Yes, some houses will have hidden interest and agenda to buy and sell along the way, but which counter doesn't experience this?

Anne Kung has stepped down as her expertise not in construction.
It may be a good step moving forward. Let someone who has experience in construction lead.
Hope the Board can really stand out and woo the investors needed. If they can get this, Vivo will take flight.

Order book in hand is strong and it helps.
Next good quarter of PAT will help too.

At the moment, i think vivo also let down by their pp shareholders they placed trust in to hold and see the company through.

CRCC are still in tender for projects right? And the LOI to cooperate with CNEC points to something is still brewing. Yes, it may be a con job...so u choose what you want to belive in.

I have seen PN17 counter like HoHup turn it round in 1 year under worse conditions, why not Vivo?

Yes, I bought Vivo, based on a lot of reason...not only on myview and kykk88 info.

some people have deeper pockets and can afford to hold. But not so for others, so be considerate. Just imagine those calling sell now, and these people who can't hold so long let go only to see rebound...they will be really hurt. So please back up your calls to sell with at least some basis.

Yes, it is my believe syndicate is still interested in this counter so I think the 'full' play is not over yet. Also just my 2c...and I accept I may be wrong

Personally, I think if the Vivo Board can find stronger investors and keep the good news coming and deliver another solid quarter the share price will 'stabilize'

There are chatters of rumours on Vivo signing on letter as the Preferred partner or sole partner of CRCC. Have any of you heard anything like this? Or plain rumour?

Regardless, I think Vivo will hold steady and reward investors ( not punters ) by year end of 2016.

Hopefully the PP holders will be better profiled ones....

However, I think some funds cant buy into VIVO now as it is ACE counter. Is it true? As and when reach MB, then more funds can invest...even EPF? Or am I wrong?

I think those that can hold this stock at this level will have at least 20% up side.

I know that the monetise their land and assets over the last year.
But this stock just stays there....
But good dividend though....hopefully this round it takes off a bit

Remember...Vivo ultimately has aim to bring the counter to Main Board. This is to attract Mainstream fund managers etc.
For that they have to be really solid this year and beyond.
PAT 1 Q has been good and is 2Q PAT is close...that will be great!
Hence it is on this that I believe we can hold out for now if have holding power.
So I assume the management will know what to do.

With some bonus shares and free warrants planned as Choo mentioned...I think this stock should hold up quite well.
No doubt it is under selling pressure last 3 days or so.
I think tomorrow's movement will be telling.

I think there are also some corrected stocks worth looking at after last 3 days....

Good support today despite shaky market

Gtronic down 9.76% in 1 day. I think it will be hard for this counter to
Repeat profits from last year or before in current market.
Personally I won't touch this stock.

I see a lot of ppl promoting Gtronic when their latest result showed profit declined by 75%!
And their business sales will unlikely to pick up based on the current market condition...

mmmm...i wonder why? So the current holders on Gtronic can get out before price collapse further if next quarter results no good? Haha....just a though

I did my own analysis on the company.
At the end of the day....
I figured it can't be that bad yet, as they have just started marketing and pushing this counter by whatever means possible.
Yes, syndicates may be involved.
I think for now, just ride along and see how much can make.
Furthermore, Vivocom needs to deliver solid results as they really pushing to be moved to Main Board.

Personally, I feel syndicate will push it now...right timing. With upcoming contracts and good PAT 1Q16.
Maybe it will correct later...but perhaps not so soon.
So I suppose those waiting to buy 'cheap' have to stay on sideline and watch a while 1st.

Yes, Vivo stock price is currently every expensive... Unless there is a re rating of stocks based on PAT. That should bring the P/E down quite a lot.

I think there will be sell off from thouse who purchase 1 month ago...but this is also not saying it will not go higher or stock will collapse.

It was mentioned that above by someone that private placement is ongoing but difficult.

i think most company find private placements company find it difficult too....especially for Vivocom with's its prevous records of multiple RTOs.

However, I heard from a from a chunk is already taken and he works on the placement. He also mentioned still no takers on the other chunks.

The Alluminium contract announcement hardly causing any excitement for me...

It is the Contruction side project that can propel this counter forward.

So yes, I will say yesterday's announcement was a bit of anti climax. Hope more announcements to come...
