Assuming all of them take part in vaccination and allocate 5 docs/ MOs every day, 8 hours of work a day, 4 patients every hour, they're able to vaccinate around 61,440 people a day. In order to vaccinate 33 mil Malaysians, it will take 537 days. This is on optimistic assumption that there is enough supplies at reasonable prices and hospitals are able to allocate resources in terms of manpower, space, storage etc.This is for our country which has a relatively good healthcare system, but what about countries like India with population over a billion and inadequate healthcare system coupled with poverty etc? If supply of gloves which are already in existence for so long can stretch up to a year to fulfill, do you seriously think enough vaccines can be made available for everyone on earth so quickly? It will take years at the very least. There's a whole lot of things to sort out ie trials, approvals, manufacturing, pricing, distribution, administering etc.

We all want vaccines to be made and given to everyone on earth safely and effectively. But if we're to read the articles thus far, none of them can give us a clear timeline when that can happen. Even with vaccines, gloves will still be needed. So just stick with your gloves stocks. Demand will not wane, not in the next 6 months.

Don't get too excited. Anyone with a sensible mind will know that the US govt cannot afford any further shortage of gloves. Cases are not getting any lesser. They need TG more than TG needs them

Take India for eg, with 1.336 billion people, with each dose of vaccine at USD100, it will require USD 133.6B to vaccinate everyone. Do you think its possible to do so all at once?
