Yes, Lithium battery is future. But where does the battery power come from when we charge it? ofcoz the power come from power plant, ie. nuclear plant, wind turbine, hydro energy, solar etc...Most electric generation is driven by heat engines. The combustion of fossil fuels still is the main component. Even renewable energy needs gasoline or diesel engine as back up generators.
