From my understanding, the acquisition is ON but will be slow. What is affecting the share price is the rumours in The Star last friday that was denied by PDZ.

Ramijanrami, from my understanding Nicorp is raising funds to cover recent financial losses and importantly to support business growth as in the pipelines currently. At "a cut-off date" to be decided later (just like how MAS did recently), holders of Nicorp shares would be provisioned purchase-able Rights (may be equitable to share amount) at 0.10/rights. The interesting part of the exercise, one who secured rights would be granted FREE warrants at ratio of 5:6. Taking into consideration of impending dilution after issuance of rights, now is the right time to purchase Nicorp shares rather than waiting for it to fly soon. I agree, this is for those having holding power and not for kaki goring or contra players because common people like us do not the TIMING. We refer to our earlier announcement dated 13 March 2012 and the article entitled “NGC buys into Shell’s LPG assets” in page 4 of the Edge Financial Daily published on 10 May 2012 where it was reported as follows:



“Oman-based Natural Gas Co SAOG (NGC) yesterday signed an agreement with Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd to acquire the latter’s Peninsular Malaysian liquid petroleum gas (LPG) assets.

NGC has acquired Shell’s LPG assets without a local partner. This is contrary to an announcement in March by Naim Indah Corp Bhd that a 040:60 special purpose vehicle, owned by a local firm Aspire Rich Sdn Bhd and NGC, would acquire the said LPG assets and that Naim was invited to participate through Aspire Rich.”

Naim Indah Corporation Berhad (“NICORP” or “Company”) wishes to clarify that the Company has obtained confirmation from Aspire Rich Sdn. Bhd. (“Aspire Rich”) that a special purpose vehicle, namely NGC Energy Sdn. Bhd. (“NGC Energy”), had on 9 May 2012 entered into the aforesaid agreement with Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd (“Shell Malaysia”) to acquire Shell Malaysia’s LPG assets.

As per the Company’s announcement on 13 March 2012, Aspire Rich has a 40% interest in NGC Energy and the remaining 60% is held by National Gas Company (NGC), a company incorporated under the laws of Oman.

Hence, the Company wishes to deny the aforesaid statements reported in the Edge Financial Daily, which states that NGC has acquired Shell Malaysia’s LPG assets without a local partner.

The Company also wishes to clarify that the invitation from Aspire Rich to the NICORP to participate in the acquisition of the said LPG assets, through Aspire Rich, remains unchanged.

NICORP will make the necessary announcement as per the Main Market Listing Requirements upon finalization of the terms and conditions in relation to the Company’s participation in the acquisition of the said LPG assets, through Aspire Rich.

Chua, dumper has many reasons. Major two reasons: 1) As cited by Chua which is proven wrong. Refer to Nicorp's latest annoucement in Bursa. 2) Rumors on GE 13. I tell you guys, this will not going to happen to September. Najib is already in UK for official visits and family vacation. Upon his return, he is gonna be bz with visits to Sabah and Sarawak (guessing) because of Pesta Kaamatan. Then, comes FGVH listings. Followed by Raya. Wait till Raya is over.
