higher interest rate = bond price collapse... means bond money will move from bond to equities... but only if Malaysia gets its act right.. the world is in the middle of receiving money from Euro... cause of Asian financial crisis in 1997/98, money from asia moved to euro anticipating new currency in euro... euro debt crisis, euro money coming out of europe to US dollar... and US share equities...

still doesn't make sense if they don't make good quarters... honda's sales is very good... especially Dec 2017... they sold more than 100k cars last year... was a good year... oct, nov and dec 2017, they sold average 11k honda cars... more than the 7k average achieved during July, Aug, Sept 2017... plus DRB has Bank Muamalat... a stable business... and now they probably don't have to write down proton, since 50% is sold to Geely... my 2 cents...

yes, wont affect, maybe knee jerk reaction that's all... probably break 3.2 all time high goto 3.5, then news release, stock pullback to backtest 3.2, after the news, go straight to above 3.5 and beyond... as long as company results deliver...

my friend in US did a calculation for me, the next quarterly announcement should reflect 13 to 15% better profit due to tax cut from 35% to 21%. Assuming supermax's profit before tax remains at 57mil, then its net profit should come to 40+ mil easily > 6 cents EPS... A conservative 6 cents per quarter or 24 cents per year EPS, and PE 20, should easily target stock price @ 4.8 minimum...

look at most of the call warrant, volume is superhigh...

re: pretty, the way i look at supermax, think it can go straight to 3 or 3.20... it's earnings should be very good next few q...especially more than half of the earnings are from USA, which they can record tax of 21% instead of 35%... plus their capacity expansion... :)

come next quarter announcement, US business tax is 21% instead of 38%, their after tax if normalise to 24% (similar to Malaysia) will get them RM43mil after tax profit, if they can maintain RM57mil before tax profit... but that's conservative considering their new plant will have solid 3 months of earning contribution since it start in November... my 2 cents...

i just read Kossan quarterly report... actually Supermax already win Kossan in terms of profit before tax... kossan glove sector revenue 414mil, pbt 53mil, supermax revenue 333mil, pbt 57mil... just need to manage the tax, sure will get better after tax profit... now supermax not no. 4 anymore... soon will become no. 3 replacing kossan... Kossan market cap = 5.5b, that's the aim...

the last time they do bonus split was when it reach 7.5.... in 2009/10... not sure this time...

re: AllWin, my take is temporarily is 23400... if that breached on Friday, expect this downtrend to register even lower low in March... but if it closes above, expect a bounce and March can still retest 23400 again... But if Friday close below 23400, then march expect 22000 to be tested...
