my simple calculation is 0.675 x 3.15% x 3.15% x 3.15% = 0.740 - 75% (0.740-0.675) = 0.723 during maturity on April 2016.

buy now @ 0.665 and you will get absolute return about 8.7%.

i think possible that cliq needs money, might raise cash via rights issue or something. So Credit Suisse dispose it. + making decent profit at least 5% which is very good return for them. ( they might also make more due to MYR weakening )

SPAC will have minimal impact for now. Most important is cepat2 secured a QA.

Sona石油董事经理拿督斯里哈典哈欣回应《商业时报》访问时说，公司依然青睐东南亚市场，并与区域内多家公司商谈。

他指出，针对合格收购活动，公司已确认数项已投入生产的资产，当前油价走势低迷，让这些已经取得开采批准权的公司，因难以取得贷款，许多计划因此暂停。

“这些公司需要寻找新伙伴，因为他们很难向银行融资，这对Sona石油来说，是个进入的好时机。”

国际原油价格不断探低，也让许多油气公司脱售部分资产削减成本负担，这也为Sona石油提供更多选择。

“目前仍难以确定何时可以完成收购活动，但希望年底前可以有定案。”

Sona石油日前宣布终止与Salamander能源的交易合约，但仍有意重新调整收购泰国海湾油田的细节。【南洋网财经】

I believe it goes up as market has accepted that this is an accident, and covered by insurance relatively, should have minimal financial impact on its financial and with low oil price, it actually likely boost up its earning.
