Reputation is the most ultimate important in social, be it individual or company VIP.
Earning reputation needs time, it's not easy. When the reputation gone, no matter how much you try to recover, it will still a damage hit.
Even Kpower and SCIB in future can be 2x or 3x or even 10x, I will never touch. I rather to miss because you never know when you will get surprise again. Same goes to Serbadk.
This happen to some of the tycoons. I might be wrong but I just don't like all Vincent Tan and Shed Mokthar. I only love Maybank because Maybank is the most secure. I love doesn't mean I will buy, don't get me wrong. Don't like doesn't mean I will not buy.

By the way, I traded Serback that day and made some penny for day spending :)

Even it may go up to 1.60 again or 2.00, I will rather miss it.

There are plenty of companies in KLSE, why must only Serbadk, Kpower or SCIB? Unless they are the best of the best, then have to grab some to keep.
I'm not saying they are not good. But a broken glass can never be recovered back to before broken. No matter how much effort putting in, still will have crack lines. May be some people could accept the crack lines but I'm not. I scare the crack lines will cause the broken in 2nd time, then more pieces of glass will break.

If you think they are good stock, and you know what you are doing, not what other told you what to do, then you should go ahead to buy. Else better don't.

Having say so, we should give Dato Karim the benefit of doubt for time being until everything is clear. Invest or not, you decide for your money because no one give a damn on your money.

Ally is really excellent in picking up good stocks. She is great in that.
But follow or not, is our own decision. Don't be personal attack. We are adult, so always be kind to others, say good words, do good things to gain more good karma.
Don't be a short happy to be keyboard master shooting others like you are the best of the best or the only on the earth. Remember, if you are the only on the earth, you will also die eventually and guarantee you are not happy being alone on earth.

Just my own thinking and what I'm doing, sell and don't ever come back. Forget about Dato Karim's 3 horses. By seeing the price stagnant for some time, I sold off quite some time ago because I got the feeling they will be the same pattern like Serbadk price movement. I quoted myself very lucky. After sold off, even seeing price likely to move upward, I also ignore them because I still strongly believe both kpower and SCIB stocks price will be like Serbadk. After long way up, stagnant for years. My profit on kpower and scib reduced a lot when not selling off at peak in Jan. But still manage to exit before this news out, else even more painful. Might end up with penny profit.

Reputation is not easy to build but easy to damage. Once damage it will take few times of effort did previously to gain back the confident. Just like you are building an apartment. Damage is always easy if not taking serious precaution of each activity in building up.

Megan and Transmile damage a lot to many people, old folks say so.

Bad because sentiment only. If you are having money to buy at low for good company, long run you still benefit. Unless you already all in or you want to scare of other to follow panic sell.
I deem this as another opportunity but not Karim's companies.

If I'm still holding Serbadk, sure cannot relax. Will fall sick if holding A LOT!
Same goes to Kpower and SCIB. The risk is there for Kpower and SCIB because the same pilot holding the steering of the planes.

KPMG did a good job. They protect retailers like us. If someone think KPMG not doing good job, then may be that person still holding a lot of shares and worry, else will be having interest to the company.
KPMG questions are very valid, from my logical thinking although I'm not professional.

With the information I heard, I wouldn't say this is a real fraud. But as a small retailer, I will avoid all Dato Karim's stocks forever, be it great or greatest in KLCI.
Reputation is a very important for us to put our money into the company. All the questions highlighted by the auditor seems a valid concern. The response from Serbadk, to me, I still not really convinced.
Anyway, I might be wrong because I'm not professional investor, not a professional stock retailer, not an accountant, not an auditor, not any company director too. I wrote this based on my personal feeling and thinking.
I'm not asking anyone not to buy or buy. I just telling, I will rather avoid.
By the way, I bought Kpower, SCIB and Serbadk because of Dato Karim. So now, also because of him, I will avoid them.

We hear Dato Karim in Kpower, SCIB and Serbadk are together when up. But people tends to split from Dato Karim when Serbadk involve in this matter.
I think no need to say whether they are same or not same. The fact is Dato Karim owns highest shares in three companies.
If this is a good company to go with, just buy at low. Shouldn't this be the way to invest? If no confident or worry, just sell first. Ain't this be the way?

If, I just say "If". "If", Serbadk has fraud in accounting, I don't think "Kpower" and "SCIB" are 100% clean. But I suggest do hope for the best, yet still need to plan for the worst.

I just guess. Even Foxconn want to buy, DNEX will also not selling their stake because Khazanah already made clear, Malaysian company needs to own majority (over 50%) of stake.
