Not really return in next life. Some people think like you too. So even do good now, you will still suffering because the return will be in next life. End up give up. "maybe" if you not doing good now, you will be even bad than now.
Anyway, i always have this thought, and just share with you:

When you do good, never expect any return from anyone. You do good to anyone because you want to do so, not you need to do so and not you have to do so. You want to do so, so you do it. And one day when you really in bad shit, someone for sure will come to you. But if you don't think someone come to you when you are in damn shit, then you are wrong. If someone doesn't come to you, you will in even bad damn shit. So that moment of your life is already the best!

This is my philosophy.

You say so because you not reach the "worst" and you haven't experience what is the "worst". When you reach the worst, then you will regret why not you appreciate the condition now. Don't underestimate the "worst". Your definition of "worst" may be just bad, not "worst". That's all i would say. You can continue to think or do what you want. No right or wrong.

@laychee, I wouldn't know whether that's the karma or not. Even if that's the karma, I wouldn't know whether the karma is because of the windfall tax or not. Because I'm not god.

What I know is, if we could help others, try to help regardless of color of skin. I always allocate small portion of profit from stock to donate to those really need help in surgery or etc.

We must appreciate what we have today. We must appreciate if we still could donate to others regardless of skin and age, instead of to be donated. I believe, if we continue to do more charity, we will gain the luck and nobleman will be coming to us when we have challenge in life.

Smart people always trying to help others but lazy people always waiting to be helped.

Many people red eyes on the profit made by glove companies. In this world, there are people who give their effort and hardwork to make themselves better and people surrounding them to be better as well.

But there are also people who are waiting to steal, grab, rob others hardwork and wealth. Because these people think everything on the land are belongs to them even hardwork or wealth from others also belongs to them. Take, grab, rob are the easiest than own hardwork. Not enough spending, take from others because they know others able to generate more.

One thing these robbery forget, is the karma. Sometimes, the karma return will be more than what had been done because they need to pay for the "interest" as well.

Having say so, this is the world and the mankind species on this earth. There will be good guys and bad guys, unless mankind species evolves to higher level in the galaxy.

One's behavior and mindset determine the road type of the journey.
