The billions lost in the capital market from MMC-Gamuda saga and now more, will continue to shock the market and make foreign investors on the stay. Next week, my prediction is that the Ringgit will plummet to all time low. This will have a spiral effect on industries that rely heavily on imports.

The evil side of me tells me this could PROBABLY be a strategy to fill up the Government's coffers by manipulating the market. If so, then the real evil has now unleashed for the suffering will ultimately go to the innocent People in the street! I hope I am wrong...

I am sure there are ways that the Government can take to cushion the impact and hold the currency stable. For example, are those companies implicated informed that they are under investigation? This is important so that the companies can take pre-emptive action to safeguard the innocent street investors by informing the SC of this material event and applying for a suspension. Please don't think of taking surprise action to bleed the cronies and those on your chopping list because we have to also think of the collateral damage. There are also other actions that the Government can take to cushion the impact, but I cannot be teaching you everything.

My concern is simple. Think of the People. Professional Governance please...
