Effectively no 2 to 5 controls 343,874,000 shares or 47%. More if they are willing to fork out more money to convert the ICPS.

How can the group prevent the takeover by Dato? One way is to push the price higher to make it more expensive for Dato to buy. By blocking it at lower price actually makes it attractive for Dato to increase its holding take control of this cash rich company while making the group losing more grounds.

Either option, it is a windfall for other investors like us. Cheers.

I think Dato is smiling as he does not need to pump money into the company. The company is rich already via conversion of ICPS... and now he is the largest shareholder. If he keeps buying, then he can effectively control VC.

with short selling now prohibited, they have to convert ICPS in order to get shares to block Dato. Even if they have to lose money to prevent the takeover.

so Dato is the biggest shareholder now unless Madam keeps on converting and put money in the company!

It seems that Madam still have substantial ICPS which she can convert (at loss) to gain the control of the company. Dato Neoh still have to buy a lot if he still want to use as a vehicle for his Trinity listing.

MCO extension is known fact already.. all the governments in the world already extended their MCO... investor will buy on opportunity. the only unknown is will government allow some activities to resume or not such as plantation etc.

I don't think it will plunge. Dato is in serious business to list his Trinity. All he needs is just to get control of the company and that is it. Seriously I am targeting 30s.

All Dato needs to another RM 6 mill to buy another 100 million shares and effectively owns the company. A small number for him.

maybe one of the reason mdm is forced to convert at loss is due to short selling is no longer allowed for 6 months. so she has to use her own shares to try to block Dato...even at loss.

Trinity will come in only after EGM which will not happen this month or perhaps next month due to MCO. Dato wants to have full board control before injecting his own business into VC. So expect the price will go up leading to EGM.
