@chan9301, The stockists were the 1st to RUN ROAD on Bornoil on Tuesday 4 Oct 2016 (when the share price hit low of 0.175 in the morning 7-early-8-early then around 4pm, hit high of 0.19 and end-of-day closed at 0.185). The price action and volume past 2 days and early this morning suggested that the retail gamblers who're caught between 0.18 to 0.185 are being forced to cut-loss between 0.17 to 0.175 at T+3 now because they do not have the money to pick up the shares. ^_^

The overall pricing of PEZZO pizza in the pizza industry is not cheap, yet PEZZO pizza has been expanding rapidly past 3 years. The targetted no. of outlets to be opened by 2019 is at 300 nos. Current no. of total outlets in operation is at 92 as at Sep 2016. The no. of PEZZO outlets in Singapore is growing fast and furious; now with 29 outlets. (I believe Bornoil's SBSL could make good money in the franchising division, especially in S'pore.) Note: 1 PEZZO outlet in S'pore is at S$100,000. so 29 X S$100,000 = S$2.9m. AdCool, Yes, today is a dead cat bounce. The total volume done at 2.3m shares with price up 7c or 2.97% are likely short-covering. Once the short-sellers cover their shorts positions, the selling pressure will resume.

angelinaloke, If you've vested interest in PHB, pls don't feel offended with my view(s), it's just my personal opinion based on TA. Short-term wise (2 to 3 months timeframe) if price hits RM 2.07 expect a strong dead cat bounce to RM 2.60 - RM 2.65, long-term wise (4 to 6 qtrs) TP of RM1.00 to RM 1.15 is not impossible, i.e. PHB may retest its record low in 2006 or down 90% from its peak at RM 9.90, the same direction as in PRG.3368HK.

ks55, I believe TA is one of the best tools to effectively measure the level of emotions if it is used correctly.

AdCool, Precise timing to buy and sell stocks is the main purpose of using TA as an effective tool to gauge the probability of a stock's direction (long-term as well as short-term), From a TA perspective, Parkson is definitely not a buy and hold stock at RM 2.31 for long-term investment, at this point of time; at best it is merely a short-term trading buy.

Note: DOWN > 50% of current price at RM 2.31 is approx. RM 1.00 to RM 1.15.

beso, Esprit (0330.HK) is now traded @ HK$11.26, showing a +ve sign of bottoming out. The stock had peaked at HK$120+ and then collapsed to rock-bottom at HK$8+ (- > 90%) retesting the low of year 2002 (refer to below Esprit chart year 2002 to Jun 2014).. On a measured move, if Parkson were to go down the same as Esprit, the rock-bottom price would be > 50% of current price at RM 2.31.

The practice of buy low sell high (contrarian investing) applies only when the share price hits rock-bottom. The current downside price movement on Parkson is not showing any signs of bottoming out; it is still spiralling down.

Parkson's continuous strong downtrend will prevail.

To make consistent profit from Parkson, instead of buy high sell higher, do the opposite; short-sell and buy-back at lower.

1. Trade in the direction of the major trend; if it's falling you should be short, not long.

2. End trades that show a loss, never average down a stock and become an involuntary investor by holding onto a stock whose price has fallen.

3. Go long when a stock hits a new high, sell short when it hits a new low.

4. A stock is never too high to buy and never too low to short.

hng33, Don't waste your bullets to average down whenever the share price hits a lower low. Wait patiently for the price to come to you. Parkson is a strong downtrend stock only good for short, not long. Even if there is a dead cat bounce, it is not sustainable.

Goldenpointer, This type of strong selling pressure always happens in longterm downtrend stocks. Parkson's strong downtrend is a prime target for short-selling. Whenever the share price hits a record low, it will trigger more short-selling. So it is not advisable to catch a falling knife especially at the beginning of the selling. However, these short-sellers need to buy back in order to make a profit. The dead cat bounce will only happen when they do massive short-covering with high volume which will temporary push up the share price.

Leesk, Based on TA, the current strong selling pressure on Parkson is known as "climatic sell-off". It is normally followed by a dead cat bounce at the Fibonacci retracement level when a stock is extremely oversold.
