@probability, indeed, some countries are implementing the herd immunity strategy. However,many innocent people will die and 50-70% of the country's population could be wiped out before the final target is achieved.

Hence, for Covid-19, herd immunity approach is a dangerous path. The best strategy is to follow WHO's guidance strictly, otherwise calamity and mayhem will be the end results.

This is looking better and better when we compare to careplus

@freetospeak, we will definitely know after this coming Q4 results.
But we are already a firm believer after looking at that analyst report.

If usd 100 revenue shld be around 2.5 billion pat is about 1.4 bill...its a bit crazy...u think ppl can beleive...thats why i never post such figure on blog...

So if we look at EBITDA, it would be abetter indicator of the increase in profit.

So QoQ, EBITDA increase from 7.6M to 27M, = 254%.

It is not impressive if we EBITDA for supermax increase only 254%.

So Careplus should not be a good guide for us.

and the Tax for careplus is also sifgnificantly lower:

"The Group’s effective tax rate is lower than the statutory tax ratedue to claimable capital allowances,reinvestment allowance and unabsorbed export allowance brought forward from previous yearby subsidiaries. "

Actually careplus revenue QoQ is only a increase of 14%.
Sales volume increase QoQ is 5%.

i am supermax holder since may. I used to come here to find any quality discussion or information shared here. At that time, still many quality people discussing. Including YTH888 eventhough she might be over emotional when things goes bad, but still got something good shared.

Today, only freetospeak left who share positive news. May shareholder maybe already released their holding or dont come here anymore.

others like team rocket, rr88 is completely waste of time. i never believe them(or even genuinely read what they wrote) but since they keep spamming the comments, its feel disgusting with their comments. They thinks its funny and enjoyful. Maybe that the only things worth doing in their life. Spamming in I3 forum. Lol. In real life, they may not funny enough to get attention of their family or girlfrien(if they have), so they come here.

Just sharing, the rally still there. Just need to wait patiently. First Qr result that capture the impact of covid 19 still not release. how can the rally finished.

Definitely we always take the lower probability to have some margin.
I'm just saying chances of it.

The logic goes:
1. Higher utilization
2. Higher ASP

So a conservative prediction is yielding 350M - 400M PAT.
So a not so conservative prediction, easily more than that.
We just take the not so conservative and the not so optimistic prediction.

The probability of not meeting "explosive" results would be due to, there are many definitely, but just some:
1. The analyst briefing information is giving too optimistic numbers
2. The utilization is not good
3. ASP is not high as expected.


Just some thoughts since the thread is much less noise now...
Any discussion is much welcome here.

Guys, Super have a very high chance of giving us a 400-500M PAT this coming earnings results, right?

The odds should be heavily tilted towards our favor.

As from most of the estimation provided from @freetospeak, it is using a very conservative estimation.

If we say it is conservative, there should be a higher probability that the results would exceed the estimation?

But of course there is no 100% for prediction of the future, only Super knows their number for the past Qtr.

It is now a matter of:
1. When will they announce the results?
2. If the results will meet the expectation for >RM20 stock price valuation?

Toughest part is deciding the exit price. I have been holding shares in supermax since 2013 and the run up is godsend; but is also a stress inducer.

No way for me to collect low. Already all in this. Will just hold it until ER to see the numbers.

Like the previous experience, when panic sold, and thinking of getting back at a lower price.
But end up getting it at a higher price.

We should hold until the ER to see the numbers from Super.

I am not on your side TeamRocket. I am telling people to be cautious. This counter has become a goreng counter and its not following its fundemantals. Im Presuming that IB operators and banks are collecting for dividends or bonus for the next qr which is in two weeks time.

Why not? 2019 Q4 earnings = 15.1M
2020 Q4 earnings is projected = 250M -> 450M.
So it is more than 1000%.

I am here so I know. Bought a 100 pcs box for CDN$17/= today . That is the latest price. 3 weeks ago was $20/= . Product is from Vietnam. Another product in the same store was from China. Few days ago went to my dentist after so many months cannot get appointment as they are not taking in any patients since middle of March. I ask my dentist to show me his box of gloves. I presume the CDN$17 is canadian dollar. Then it is roughly US$12.5 per 100pcs.

This translate to US$125 per 1000pcs which is still very high vs pre-covid glove prices <US$20 per 1000pcs.

So it is still a investment into gloves counter.
