CI Holdings Bhd is engaged in investment holding and the provision of management services its subsidiaries. It has three segments: Edible Oil, Tap-Ware and Sanitary Ware, and Investment Holdings. The Edible Oil segment is engaged in buying, selling, manufacturing, and packing of various types of edible oils. The Tap-Ware and Sanitary ware segment engage in the manufacturing and trading of household fittings and appliances, such as water taps, plumbing accessories and sanitary wares. Its Investment Holdings segment is engaged in investment activities. The company has a presence in Malaysia, Africa, Asia, and Other regions; out of which Africa generates majority revenue for the firm.

How to be entitled

On ex-Date, the price will be adjusted to reflect the theoretical market price of the stock after the entitlement. You can sell the shares on / after ex-Date and still be entitled to the corporate exercise. The key is to purchase the shares before ex-Date.
