ABOUT THIS WEBINAR:
Session 1 : Hedging Strategies Using Futures
This session provides an overview on the underlying mechanism of futures, how it can be used as a hedging tool followed by market insight and outlook of the futures market.
Presented by Chang Min Wei, Assistant Manager, Derivatives, UOB Kay Hian Malaysia
Session 2 : Technology: Is It Safe For Bottom Fishing?
Since our contrarian sector downgrade in late 2021, mean reversion happened across the local technology names with the respective valuations plunged below their five-year mean levels. While the industry’s risk-reward profile is more compelling at these levels, one has to be selective across the segments as signs of slowdown continue to unfold. This session will focus on top-down industry analysis by examining risk-reward ratios, imminent rerating and derating catalysts, and bottom-up stock picking.
Presented by Desmond Chong, Associate Director and Head of Retail Research, UOB Kay Hian Malaysia
