All these Stock Picks came from Executives sitting in their air conditioned office.

Mostly Blue Chips & proven 2nd liners. These "experts" have no clue about the actual market out there. Things have changed since Crude Price crashed.

Year after year this same group of "experts" will play it "safe" by following the same beaten path. None will stick their neck out to pick a cold laggard stock with potential. Where were they when MyEg was 10 cents? And nobody will dare to pick Focal Aims at 11 cents in year 2009. Focal Aims later became Ecoworld. None will pick Supermax which is the most undervalue (instead they pick expensive Kossan & Hartalega)

They all missed the spectacular recent run up of furniture stocks. And none picked any GST stocks which will be active till April 2015

Imagine these academics writing about fishing when they have never caught any fish all their lives? Or about car racing when they don't even have a driving license? Recommending stocks from aircond office cocooned in leather sofas?

The Contestants of i3 Stock Pick Challenge will beat many hands down.

It is ridiculous to see them recommending bank stocks, stale blue chips. Since Foreign Funds have left. The Top 30 active counters daily are penny stocks. Why none of them bother to check what's being traded daily?

You must go fishing where fishes gathered. In this case penny stocks and 2nd liners will be the stock picks for year 2015

As always these "experts" follow and copy from each other and just play safe.
If can get a yield of 6% and keeping close to their peers they will be quite satisfied.

These experts are moron! Export oriented companies should be the top pick in 2015. Earn the US dollars.

please stay away from these stocks if you know what is good for you. These "analists" have their own hidden agendas. I can bet that these companies are their corporate customers. Do you dare to offend your customers with a "sell" call on their stock?

These "analists" were promoting oil & gas as "safe" investments even at target price PE's of 25 just months ago. You talk about safe long term investments, just look back to all these "analists" recommendations last year. It's all in this website. If you follow them, you will be an ikan goring by now. If you want to be safe, do your own thinking. At least you won't be a victim of the big fishes and their hidden agendas. Believe me, they are definitely not thinking about your interests when they make their recommendations.

Even when oil prices are crashing , they are still recommending to buy certain oil & gas counters. I don't think they are that stupid. They are just trying to support the prices because of instructions from higher ups.
There are a lot of dirty things going on with these brokers. If you are not careful, they will bring you to HOLLAND and you will be eaten alive by big fishes.

I can only agree on Mitra as it has many large contracts. Only concern is slow and low default by them

agreed that most analyst have hidden agenda. banks too have mutual funds. probably working hand in hand. negative sentiments stirred to invoke fear so that fund managers can grab at lowest while spinning positive news or buy calls so that fund managers can unload and take profit. unethical i agree!

The largest mutual fund in Malaysia is holding a high percentage of the stock of their parent company. Is this a conflict of interest? They are using the public's money to support the parent company's share price. This is another example of the funny things going on. They also have brokers giving buy calls almost daily to support prices of their mutual fund holdings. You support me, I support you....if you know what I mean.

Let's look at tenaga -- since all household in malaysia use electric, it shall be fine with steady earning.

Air asia, steady even after plane crashed, unless indonesia license revoked, then it is fine still.

good for long term. keep for many years with ur extra money..
