The Academics Paper written. The Problems is that Malaysia DOES NOT produce good rice simply because Malayisa SOIL is NOT suitable ( mainly Swampy land & near sea ) . Indonesia have the same problems too. Thailand , Cambodia and LAOS have good soil but needs LOTS of water . Datuk here talks about getting the logistic and Authorities to properly manage FARMERS access and work force. It is Private Sector. Govn should STEP OUT and let Private sector manage it . Support WHO EVER is CAPABLE and EXPERIENCE for FOOD cultivation. Including Foreign Experts and Machinery in. STOP Playing the "Race" issue ... As ALL WILL SUFFER when there is not enough FOOD. AND Malaysia have to IMPORT critical food . Prices will RISE ... Will the Lower Class be able to afford it ? And if We Cannot IMPORT sufficient FOOD ???
