Although disappointed it did not continue to run today but some profit taking is not surprising. It did have a strong rise on Friday and guess can't expect it to rise everyday. Lets see how it closes today.

Market breadth was very negative and so FGV's closing was reasonable given its surge last week. Furthermore, volume today was not that high too. Therefore, there is hope once market sentiment stabilizes, the stock will continue its uptrend.

As said before, yes sure the group has a lot of bad news (previously) but most have been discounted already. Now new A-Z team slowly but surely turning things around and running it like a proper business entity. Already FGV is making efforts to reduce costs, to streamline operations by selling off non-core assets and to protect shareholder interests. The stock may continue to re-rate as positive news are announced and as the stock falls back into the radar of serious investors. The guidance by company that exports should jump in 1Q18 and that dividend could rise to 7.5sen this year from 5.0sen last year is a clear market signal to buy. There is also the angle of GE14 coming and further positive developments for FGV won't be surprising at all.

Stock had a good run last week. Some profit taking now. No crystal ball and just sharing views, won't be surprised profit taking may be shallow and short lived and once market recovers, hope FGV will continue its uptrend. Next target is 2.30. Keep eye on big picture and Happy Investing! Hehe

It is good to hear they retrieved back the Jalan Semarak land.
Next they have to catch the perpetrators to this fiasco
Someone has to be held accountable.
If Synergy Promenade did not have the ability to finance their development obligations to FELDA they should not have been appointed in the first place.
It is down to weakness of management during Isa Samad's tenure.

Overnight US markets rose sharply, then reversed sharply. Usually not a good technical sign. Maybe the markets need a breather after the recent rally.

Still hopeful since big picture on FGV remain positive medium term. No crystal ball but once market stabilizes, good stocks should lead the recovery again. Happy Investing! Hehe
