Kita prihatin dengan kesukaran peneroka FELDA bilamana harga sawit dan getah rendah. Namun simpanan tunai FELDA hampir kosong dengan beban hutang sebanyak RM8.025 bilion.

Justeru, kita mengambil langkah proaktif dengan menyalurkan bantuan khas berjumlah RM77 juta kepada peneroka khususnya untuk:

(i) bayaran pinjaman sara hidup dan pendahuluan hasil;

(ii) bayaran tunggakan pengurusan tanam semula;

(iii) bayaran khairat kematian kepada 120 waris peneroka.

Bantuan ini akan selesai pada minggu akhir bulan Disember 2018.

Saya berharap peruntukan ini dapat meringankan beban kewangan peneroka terutama dalam menyediakan keperluan persekolahan untuk tahun baharu ini.

How does privatisation of FGV holdings help in salvaging Felda I wonder? The debt is in FELDA, and it’s not FGV. FGV have more than 1.3bil cash flow.

Even under New M'sia it seems Chinese cannot be CEO of GLCs' true? To cover Malay(all the FGV past problems bec directors all Malay true?) weaknesses it is best FGV to be privatised so that good QR not required under non-listed company.

5354; My opinion is best to give FGV a chance. If they privatise FGV, their accounts will not be viewed by public anymore. The idea of going to public, FGV can get foreign investors coming in. The turnaround will benefit fgv in future .
