PM: MAS will not be privatised

PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said today Malaysia Airlines (MAS) will not be privatised.
He said MAS will not be privatised as the national carrier's turnaround plan showed the total losses were shrinking.
Najib, who is also Finance Minister, said this to reporters when asked to comment on the suggestion by former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad that MAS should be privatised.
Dr Mahathir had said privatising MAS was one of the ways to address the losses faced by the national carrier particularly after undergoing turnaround plans several times.

those bought above cloasing price will have to face the Fear Factor - contra losses or keep holding in a downtrend

This is the way on how to incrs the share...so that ppl will buy and hold their share until some time...if not mas will not going to move up coz this big vol is hard to move up...juzt imagine how big mas share since it is listed at klse...no wonder who buy this share will sleep for long2 time...

During Idris J...MAS make profit by selling aircrf. Idris also fail to turnaround MAS...now jadi PEMANDU pulak.

Facts remained, MAS is trading below its NAV. Both Najib and DrM wants MAS share price to go up. Privatization is the fastest way to inject new funds to MAS. While restructuring requires longer time. I agree with DrM ...MAS share price will imminently soar inevitably.
