Yes I have this counter .Last month bought 18.5 sen and sold 20.5 sen . Bought back at 20 sen and keep until now . Can buy some more if the mother share moves higher it will bring higher % gain .

exercise ratio 5 to 1 exercise price 2.70

mother 4.02
son-ca 0.31

Premium = 2.70+(5 X 0.31) less 4.02 = 0.23/4.02= 5.72%

premium extremely low for a call warrant that have 11 months to expiry

Sephiroth, tq for the info, but what happens when the 11 months reached? if ca is 0.35, premium will be about 10.6%, means better or worst?

i3i2i1, the premium change every time mother share price change. at closing 4.05 and ca still 0.31, the premium have reduce to 4.73% which is unrealistically low
2.70+(5 X 0.31) less 4.05 = 0.23/4.05 = 4.73%

i3i2i1, it depends on how you view the growth of this company.
long term buyers of 0.31 today are confident that mother price will be more than 2.7+(5x0.31) in 11months or sooner.
short term buyers of 0.31 today are confident that mother price will break 4.2 next week?

luyee, mother share can breach 2.7+(5x0.31) aka 4.25 in 1 week or so so the tp for ca shd be at least 40 now

i3i2i1, not necessarily "warrant premium lower better" works for all counters.
For example, the premium of hibiscus-wa was at some discount(negative premium) yesterday, if you have bought it yesterday, you might still be awake like me now. cannot sleep :(

ca is by cash. look at exercise price, expiry date and also the converstion factor. if mother is high then your cash pay back is high.

The mother share should have made sufficient technical adjustment with a drop of 23 cents from 4.58. It's time for it to fly again. When the mother share flies, the CA will hopefully fly even higher.

it's time to relook at umwog-ca, most recent tp of 5.15 by maybank / 5.00 by cimb/ 4.82 by TA, even the most pessimistic tp range from 4.12 (HLG) to 4.15(Alliance). I think the selldown by foreign shareholders on the mother share is overdone

at 24.5 sen, the premium is only 1.95%
Exercise price 2.70 / Exercise ratio 5:1/ Expiry date 10 Nov 2014
Premium = Ex-price + (Warrant price X Excersise ratio) LESS mother share price /mother share price

= 2.70 + (24.5 X 5) LESS 3.85 / 3.85
= 1.948%
