Checked the JPJ new car registration if not mistaken mazda sales dropped another 25percenr compared to 1st quarter. Really sad place bet on the wrong counter

Overall Malaysia Car sales drop? Bermaz not just selling Mazda. They sell Xpeng , Kia , and also pre-owned Madza , Kia ,Xpeng after sales services and spare parts too. They are selling Mazda in Philippine too , not just in Malaysia

We are not in position to commend its future prospect ..But hope they have plan ahead such as investment into EPMB . Car are like Smartphone. You need change and buy a new one when it get old. RM5000 to RM8000 smartphone (consumer willing to spend , every year , near model ) , Washing machine RM12000++ marketable.... Car business ? I think is sustainable if WELL MANAGED.
Not many counter giving high dividend over 8% , but again cannot commend if this will continue sustainable or not.

Honda, Toyota are giving huge discount for their cars. Don't just look at dividend. It can be a deadly trap. If sales keep going down, dividend will also shrink. Same case like BAT.

Yup Mazda always give the impression that they're slightly different from others Japanese marque. That's y their cars is above average. But unfortunately the recent cheaper and more fancy china car has affected the mainstream brand quite badly.

Chinese model vs Japanese model vs European model . They are all different categories , quality and consumer segment. Short term yes, mixture demands and competition, and production roll out , but it will no be long. Ask ourselves, if you can afford which make you will buy Chinese, Japanese or European model

ICE car after 10 to 15 years , if want to keep , just spend 5 to 10k depend on made to swap a recon engine or somethings.. EV ? let wait and see after 5 years. And what is the cost of the battery replacement , electric boards, soft ware ?? Youtube has many video on EV. I felt an improved ICE car has more prospect (what the Japanese makers are looking into)

Will see , how many on the road for this coming CNY and Hari Raya balik kampung jam . Pasar malam diesel generator might come useful ( can get online . like a power bank.. will be a hot sales ) .

Believe Mazda will continue to be well received in Malaysian market as their built quality and design is still above average compared to others Japanese car. The upcoming CX60 is superb but unfortunately the market share for Bermaz is shrinking due to fierce competitions from Chinese car and the more expensive pricing for it own new model.
