From 1985 to 1993, he was the Manging Director of Jotun Powder Coatings (M) Sdn Bhd. In 1989, he embarked on a build and lease project with the multinational APV Hills and Mills. He is also the Managing Director of Axis Development Sdn Bhd (the ultimate sole shareholder of Axis REIT Managers Berhad, the management company of Axis Real Estate Investment Trust ["Axis-REIT"]) since 1999. He is also a director of a number of private companies which are involved in property development and property investment.
